Stay Alive Reprise

In this timeline Alpha and Jem visit their son occasionally and do know him. This reprise takes place when Brayden follows Divine to the battlefield, Jem also decides to watch from the sidelines. Trying to protect Divine from a fireball, he jumps in front of Divine who than dragged him to the perimeter. While Brayden is talking to his parents, the rest of the soldiers are stalling the demon. 

Alpha: Where's my son?!

Divine: King Alpha, come over here, 
He lost a lot of blood on the way over!

(Stay alive) 

Alpha: Is he alive?

Divine: Yes, but you have to understand
The blast opened the flesh just above his hip and stopped at his right arm

Alpha: Can I see him please?

Divine: I'm doing everything I can but the wounds too deep.

Alpha: Brayden...

Brayden: Dad!

Brayden: I did exactly as you taught me to, I held my weapon high...

Alpha: I know, I know, shh, I know, I know, shh, I  know you did everything just right, shh 

Brayden: Even before the soldiers came... (shh), I was aiming for it's eyes... (I know, I know, shh) I was aiming for it's eyes...

Alpha: I know, save your strength and stay alive, Jem!

Jem: Is he breathing, is he going to survive this? (Stay alive) Who made him do this, Alpha, did you know?

*Alpha puts crown against his chest in shame*

Brayden: Mom, I'm so sorry for forgetting what you taught me....

Jem: My son

Brayden: We played piano (I taught you piano) You would put your hands on mine

Jem: You changed the melody every time (ha)

Brayden:  I would always change the line

Jem: Shh, I know, I know

Brayden: I would always change the line

Jem: I know, I know, Un-deux-trois-quatre-cinq-six-sept-huit-neuf (un-deux-trois-quatre-cinq-six-sept-huit-neuf)

Jem: Good, Un-deux-trois-quatre-cinq-six-sept-huit-neuf (un-deux-trois) Sept-huit-neuf

Jem: Sept-huitk
