To make some things clear:
Dilara: Max Verstappen's girlfriend
Seychelle: George Russell's girlfriend
Sacha: Lando's roommate
- I want to tell the world
- I miss you every second of the day

You were sitting in front of the tv. It was Sunday and the formation lap was about to start.

"Sacha hurry up!"

"I'm coming." Sacha took a seat next to you and put the snacks between the two of you.

"The formation lap already started."

"I know I'm sorry." You were acting kind of annoyed but in reality you were very happy Sacha could watch the race with you. You always watched the race alone at home because Lando didn't want you to come to the races with him. He didn't want anyone to know.

The race was over. Another good result for Lando and Mclaren. You turned the tv off but didn't move. You just stared at the black screen.

"Y/N are you okay?"

"Sacha why am I a secret? Why isn't anyone allowed to know Lando and I are dating?"

"He never gave you a reason?"

"He only told me that it would be better for us both if we kept it a secret. He is ashamed of me isn't he?"

"Y/N I don't know why he wants your relationship to be a secret. You have to ask him that. However I do know that he is not ashamed of you and that he loves you more than anyone else."

You heard that the door was being unlocked. The door closed behind him. "Y/N!?"

"In the kitchen!" You hear his footsteps come closer. He wrapped his arms around your waist and he kissed the back of your head.

"I'm home."

"I noticed." Suddenly his hands grabbed your waist and turned you around.

"Why are you acting so cold? Did something happen?"

"No." He leaned forward to kiss you but you turned your head away. "Lando we need to talk."

"Ehm okay. Are you okay?"

"No I'm not. I haven't been for a while now."

"What happened? Did someone hurt you?"

"You did."

"I-I did? What did I do?"

"I'm tired of being your secret! Why am I your secret? Are you ashamed of me? Don't you love me?"

"Y/N what are you talking about? of course I love you! Babe I kept our relationship a secret because I wanted to protect you. I've seen how much hate Seychelle and Dilara get. I didn't want that for you."

"We have been dating for almost a year now Lando. Were you ever planning on telling anyone?"

"Of course I was going to tell people. I just don't know when. Maybe in a few years."

"In a few years!? Lando don't you hate it that we are never together because of this?"

"I miss you every second of the day. And I want you with me. But I also wanted to protect you. Now I'm the one that hurt you. I'm so sorry Y/N. Can you forgive me?"

"I want to tell the world."

"And that's exactly what I'm going to do."

"I forgive you." You leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on his lips. "I love you."

"I love you too."

You walked over the paddock hand in hand with your boyfriend. The photographers were very eager to get a picture of the two of you. This was the first time Lando Norris' girlfriend appeared in the paddock after all.

You loved every second of being there. You loved the people, the race, Lando. The other drivers were very kind and George immediately made you feel welcome. He never met you but he'd known you existed from the beginning.

You had never felt so happy.
