Chapter 6

Something gripping your butt tightly was the first thing you noticed when you woke up the next morning, your eyes adjusting as they took in the sight of the tattoo spread across Marco's chest. When you remembered the events of last night and that you were currently cuddled up to the older blonde and that he had to be the one that was touching, well more like gripping, your ass, you let out a small yelp.

Covering your mouth quickly, you looked up to see if Marco had woken up. Letting out a small sigh of relief when you observed his adorable and soundly asleep face, you turned your face back to his chest, nuzzling into it and hoping to get a few more hours of sleep. That was until Marco gripped your butt tighter, if that was even possible, as he let out a loud yawn.

"Morning yoi," The blonde murmured, looking down at you with a smile, furrowing his brow when he saw how red your cheeks were. "Are you feeling okay? Your face is so red yoi..."

"Um, well, not that I'm complaining, but your u-uh holding my a-ass..." You stammered, biting your lip nervously as you looked up at him.

Marco looked down at you in confusion, giving your ass another squeeze before realization finally hit him. When it did, he let go on you quickly, his whole face turning beet red. "S-sorry yoi!" He yelped, sitting up quickly.

You couldn't help but chuckle at his flustered reaction, sitting up yourself and stretching out your arms, trying to hide your own flustered state. "You don't have to apologize..."

"Please don't tell the others, I'll never hear the end of it yoi," Marco pleaded, frowning as he looked at you.

"Didn't realize I was that embarrassing," you retorted, scowling as you looked away from him. You couldn't help but feel a little hurt by the words. Stupid boys, stupid boys, stupid boys!

"N-no that's not what I meant! You're not embarrassing at all you're g-gorgeous yoi!" Marco stammered, both of your eyes growing wide at the words.

"T-thanks..." you murmured, smiling to yourself as you looked down at the sheets.

"I just don't want them to yell at me for taking advantage of you or something..." Marco informed, clearing up the confusion.

"I won't tell them, Marco, I know how they can be," you smiled up at him before getting out of the bed. "So...you think Shanks will let me stay home from work today?" You questioned as you got a good look at the bruises covering your body when you stood in front of the mirror in Marco's room.

"Of course, no way we would let you go in tonight anyway yoi," Marco remarked as he stood up as well, coming to stand behind you and wrapping his arms around you in an attempt at comforting you. "It's Saturday too, so you can spend the night with Thatch, Sabo, and I. I'm sure Luffy or Ace can cover for you tonight."

"They're going to be so mad when they find out about what happened with Kid..." You frowned, turning to face Marco and hiding your face in his chest.

"We told them when they got home last night, and they were pretty pissed yoi. But I don't think they'll do anything drastic unless you want them to," Marco ran his hands up and down your back. "Hey, wanna run some errands with me today? Might make everything seem more normal yoi."

You nodded, giving him a small smile as you detached your face from his chest. "Can we bring Luffy and Ace before they go to work?"

Marco sighed but nodded nonetheless. "Fine, but I'm not responsible for them when they inevitably get themselves in trouble yoi."
