Baby, I had a dream...
..of cloudless skies with warm honey nights.
With stars, only little butterflies wish for.
Baby, I had a dream you woke up while I was asleep in a different room and you were the one wishing to be by my side.
Baby, I had a dream you just had to tell me the next morning with that sunflower you gave me, with that kiss on the cheek you gave me, with that warm hug you gave me, with that beautiful smile you gave me..
Baby, I had a dream..
..Not like many others..
We were sitting at an ice-cream shop. I had a dream, it was my first time telling you I just can't eat. And it the first time you made me laugh when you said it was okay and buried my nose in the salty caramel.
Baby, this wasn't a dream like any other because it is a memory.
Baby, I have a favorite memory of you laying fast asleep while I watched the white walls go from dark to light and the feeling of blue came over me. You put your arm around me, kissed me on the cheek and slept on.
Baby, I have a memory that was today...
"Baby?"
Yes?
"You make me happy."
