Ice Age the Meltdown

Ch.4

                                                                  Hope POV

It was chaos Animals everywhere we're heading out into the flow of traffic, I was sitting on Manny's tusk Sid ran past Diego shoving barriers in his mouth, 

"Manny Manny! Hey I hear you're going extinct!" Sid said 

"If you ever master hygiene, try working on sensitivity," Diego said 

"But please work on hygiene" I said 

"I'm not going extinct!" Manny said 

"Hey kids look the last mammoth," a anteater said 

"woah" the kids said 

"you probably won't see another one of those again" He said as he walked away 

"See," Sid said 

I was sitting on manny's tusk as we walked 

"Someday...when you've gone extinct...you're gonna make a stink..." Sid sang

"Shut up Sid," Manny ordered a few hours later 

"Hey there what's that sound? All the mammoths are in the ground!" Sid sang again

"Stop sining Sid!" Manny yelled 

few hours later 

"If your species won't continue clap your hands!" he clapped "If you're species won't..." Sid sang

"Sid... I'm gonna fall on you again and this time I will kill you." Manny threatened 

"Okay if somebody doesn't like the classics" Sid said 

Manny stopped looking at his reflection in a dripping icicles,

"What if you're right? what if I am the last mammoth?" He asked sadly 

"Hey manny look on the bright side you have us!" Sid said 

"Not you're most persuasive argument Sid," Diego said 

suddenly a faint trumpeting echoed through the forest

"Mammoths!" Me and Diego said 

I knew it I knew I couldn't be the last one! I felt it in my gut!" Manny said as 

Manny knocked Sid onto his tusk and went charging into the woods Diego took off after him as I was on Manny's other tusk 

Manny halted  suddenly Sid went flying off and skidded across the ground a loud farting noise sounded and a horse blushed 

"Sorry, my stomach hates me," Sid held his nose and waved his other paw back and forth

"Well don't that put the stink in extinction," He said 

"I uh...need to be alone for a while you guys go ahead I'll catch up," Manny said 

"One truly is the loneliest number," Sid said as he and Diego walked off 

I jumped off his tusk

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay?" I asked 

"you can stay," He said 

I jumped back on his tusk

"Talk to me," I said looking at him sadly 

"What if I really am the last mammoth?" He asked 

"Who cares, look at me you don't see any Weasel's around do you it's not bringing me down you wanna know why" I said 

"Why?" Manny asked 

"Because I know I'll always have you," I said smiling at him 

He grabbed me gently with his trunk and brought me to his face 

"Thank you Hope," He said and I hugged his face 

"That's what family's for," I said
