Ice Age the Meltdown

Ch. 8

                                                             Hope POV

We were walking in the woods where logs covered the path, I walked with Diego since I'm getting pretty good at jumping because of my small form, 

Manny had to move the logs though 

Crash and Eddie scampered over the logs playing tag with Ellie who ran after them playfully, 

I caught Manny staring at Ellie,

"She's not half bad you know," Diego said 

Manny turned to us a long log in his trunk Diego ducked, I didn't have to, but Sid didn't fair too well getting knocked over the head, causing him to fall to the ground, 

"Crazy and confused but... sweet," Diego said 

"So?" Manny said 

manny moved the log again, Diego ducked agains and once again hit Sid upside the head, 

"So what's holding you back?" I asked, 

Manny threw the log aside and sighed, 

"My family," Manny said 

He picked up another log Sid popped to of the end, 

"you can have that again," Sid said 

"No, Sid I can't," Manny said he started to toss the log, 

Sid held on for dear life, 

"Okay, Okay, Okay but But if you let this cat go you're letting your whole species down! and That's... that's just selfish!" Sid said 

then the log went flying, with Sid yelling 

Me and Diego walked past him as his legs were sticking out of the log, 

"I think I'm starting to get through to him!" Sid's voice echoed in the log
