I wake up, all sweaty, and immediately I start crying. I turn around, throwing myself at the person I love, still sound asleep next to me. I hold onto him as if he's my last lifeline, shaking, crying. I hear a soft groan as he turns around and starts hugging me back, petting my head.
'Nightmare?' he asks, softly, his voice as sleepy as it can get. I nod, trying to calm my breathing, but unable to stop crying. 'You were getting married... I loved you so much. I love you so much.' I hug him even tighter, as if he would go away if I don't hold him.
'Idiot. I love you too.' he says. I hear how his breath slows down as he falls asleep again, and I know everything is alright. At this peaceful moment, I thank fate for everything it has brought me, and I too fall asleep again, dreaming of nothing but good things this time.
