Kevin let out an exaggerated groan at the early morning sky. The dark blue hue making him bang his head along the wooden desk. A dark grey overshadowed the shiny heirloom that was latched onto the metal necklace. Suddenly, a loud roar of wind came crashing down from the sky, sending down shivers across the land.

In the process, Kevin had mistakingly released the metal piece, causing it to scratch him slightly. Blood rushed out of the small wound, circling his light body, a maroon pool encased him in a cage. He was terrified. The male felt his eyes changing causing his breath to hitch. The dark red liquid disappeared into thin air as the wound closed.

Kevin swayed closer to his wide, walk-in closet. Having the urge to look up, he saw his blood-red eyes staring back at him; his body moving back. Next to him was a lean, old figure that had the same colored eyes.

"𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚘, 𝙺𝚎𝚟𝚒𝚗."

What!? Kevin shook his head, thinking this was all a dream. Thunderstruck, as he opened his eyes to the old man, was standing still in front of him.
