Hi, Coffee Guy,

Hindi ako nakatulog nang maayos kagabi.

Ang sakit tuloy ng mga mata at ulo ko pagbangon ko kanina. I was worried about what would happen today.

Ngayon na lang ulit ako lumabas ng weekend nang may imi-meet. Kadalasan, nasa bahay lang ako at kung aalis man ay mag-isa lang.

It felt weird for some reason.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako kinakabahan kahit na ilang beses naman na tayong nagkita sa coffee shop. Maybe because this time, it's not a chance encounter?

Napahinto naman ako sa paglalakad nang makita ko siya. A smile escaped my lips.

He's with her.

Feelings are strange. They can change, disappear or blossom in unexpected ways. Several months ago, looking at them was painful enough for me to shed tears. Now, all I can feel is lightheartedness whenever I see them.

I sincerely wish them happiness and I hope they last forever.

Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad habang nakatingin sa langit. Medyo makulimlim na. Mas gusto ko ang ganitong panahon kaya mas lalong gumaan ang pakiramdam ko.

Taking the first step is always scary. It's terrifying because it means I'm going somewhere new and different; somewhere uncertain and unknown. But I also know that it's inevitable. Because whether I like it or not, people are bound to move forward.

"Hello," you greeted while showing me the coffee you have ordered and the note attached to it.

I smiled, remembering the words I wrote for you.

"Hi," I replied and sat across you.

Taking the first step is always scary. Because it means we're risking something worth our comfort.

And now, I'm about to risk the walls I painfully built to protect that comfort.
