"What? Not liking the food?"

"Oh its not the food... people are staring" Sehun looked around the canteen and saw that everyone was indeed staring at the two of you.

"I'm used to it but obviously you're not me. Just ignore them and pretend they're not there" he said while placing a bit of lasagna in to his mouth.

Gulping hard, you tried to carry on your meal while trying to not to take notice of the stares.

You had hoped this morning that Sehun would cancel or even forget the meet up. Since most of the missions that were given out yesterday took only one day to complete, most of the heroes returned and were currently staring at the both of you eat.

"So, what did you do after the academy?" And there he goes, asking the difficult questions already.

"... to tell you the truth, Sehun. I didn't graduate from the academy" this made the other halt.

"Didn't graduate? What do you mean?"

"Well... I dropped out" this made the hero really confused as you only had one week left until graduation.

"Why? Is it something to do with your health? But you were pretty healthy back then" with you having his full attention now, he placed his utensils on the plate to engage even more in the conversation.

"No it had nothing to do with my health... I just didn't want to be a hero anymore..."

"... was it because of Jay?" At the mentioning of his name, you held your breath. Taking your silence as a yes, he began to continue eating his lunch.

"...I understand if what happened scared you. I mean, everyone was pretty shaken up about it. But, that's what comes with being a hero-"

"I don't want to talk about it anymore" you bluntly said before also continuing to eat your pasta. Taking the hint, Sehun decided to change subject.

"So what do you do now?"

"I work for Nightingale" this didn't shock the dark haired Protector, knowing that your powers were for helping others and Nightingale was lucky to have you.

"Is it good working with them?"

"Well yeah, I get to help people like I wanted to. Plus, the pay isn't that bad" you said with a thin smile.

"Well I'm glad you're happy doing what you want" he said warmly before taking a sip at his drink.

Before you could say your thanks, the sound of food trays hitting the table surprised you and made you look to your left at the culprits.

"Do you mind if we sit here? Thanks" Namjoon stated without waiting for either of you to respond. Across from the blonde hero and beside Sehun sat Yoongi with his tray.
