"Wait wait, explain to me again how you got permission to be a hero?" You looked at the blue haired male in confusion, not believing the story that he had just told you.

"Ugh, why can't you believe me? Okay, let me tell you again. After they sent you off to Nightingale, they arrested me and took me to the hero council..."

"Where is Phantom?"

"I told you, I. Dont. Know" annoyed after being asked the same question over and over, Taehyung tried to move his cuffed wrists that were behind his back in a more comfortable position. Well, as comfortable as it could get.

"You said you could walk around the place freely. Where is this place?!" The detective exclaimed, clearly stressed about not getting answers for the past few hours.

"Yeah, but there were no windows or doors to see or get out!"

"Mr. Lee, someone is here to see you" someone spoke through the room speakers. Taehyung was currently being constrained on a chair in a questioning room. The hero council had a person come to disable his powers while getting questioned by Mr. Lee, which had meant it was difficult for the ex-villain to escape.

"... I'll be right back" the man warned the younger before exiting the room and making sure to close the door behind him.

"I'm so going to kill that liar when I see him-"

"Hey, papa smurf" The shape shifter looked up to see the mentioned 'liar' walk through the door with a smirk plastered on his face.

"I'm going to kill you!"

"What? Why? I'm here to help you out-"

"We are here to help out" Namjoon corrected after entering the room also. Mr. Lee followed behind them with a adamant look on his face as he looked at everyone in the room.

"Apparently, these are witnesses to your 'heroic' actions... if what they say is true, then you are free to go"

"You're very welcome~" Jungkook sang mockingly to the blue haired male who only scoffed back in response.

"'Free to go'? Yeah right, as if they would let me walk out of this place with no strings attached"

"You're right, they probably wouldn't" suddenly, an unfamiliar voice filled the room which made everyone move their attention to the door.

"Mr. Bang? What are you doing here?" Jungkook exclaimed in shock. The CEO of Zeus walked past the brunette and the ice user and towards where Taehyung was constrained.

"But, if you were a hero from Zeus, you would have a better chance of leaving" trying to process what the older man was trying to say, the ex-villain raised his brows in realisation.

"Y-you want me... to join Zeus?"

"To put it simply, yes" astounded, Taehyung would have never imagined in his life that the CEO of the best hero company in the whole country would ask him to be a hero for Zeus.

"... say yes! Ow!" Jungkook shouted before receiving a hit to the arm by the blonde hero.

"What's your answer?" He couldn't believe it, he was sure that he was going to be ruined for life now that he was classified as an ex-villain.

"... why are you giving me another chance? I was on the bad side on my own free will"

"Everyone makes bad decisions, that's what makes us humans. But what makes you a good person is to realise that your decision was a mistake. Taehyung, do you think what you did was a mistake?" Looking away, the shape shifter began to think about his actions.

"...no. I don't think it was a mistake" the others in the room couldn't believe their ears.

"Why, may I ask, do you think that?" Mr. Bang urged on.

"...because... I wouldn't have met Y/N or Jungkook... Y/N wouldn't have made me realise that there were nice people out there... and Jungkook was the first person to understand me" Namjoon continued to watch, wondering where this was heading and how Mr. Bang was going to respond next.

"...I haven't heard anyone answer like that before. You could have lied to me and told me it was a mistake, making you a good person and then you'd leave here free. Why did you tell me the truth?"

"... because this is my first time being asked for my opinion... and I'm not going to lie about it" he answered with confidence after returning his strong gaze back at the older man.

"...Mr. Lee"

"Yes?"

"Call the officers..." Taehyung looked down, defeated at his attempt of leaving free.

"...and tell them to unbind his cuffs" his ears perked up before looking back at the CEO, astonished at what he had heard.

"Wait, really?!"

"Welcome to Zeus, V"

"And then I was sent with Namjoon, Jimin and Jungkook a week later to pick you up from Nightingale" he finished before taking another bite of his curry.

"Woah..." Taehyung noticed your stares which lead to him to feel uncomfortable.

"What? Is there something on my face?" You chuckled at his expression before explaining yourself.

"No, I just thought how cool you were right now. You're not that bad of a guy, Tae" you complimented thoughtlessly before also starting your meal.

The other blushed at your comment, never really hearing a girl sound so genuine while talking about him like you did before.

"T-thanks"

"Now hurry up and eat, that story time took up most of the lunch hour!" He laughed as you stuffed your face with food until you looked like a squirrel who had its cheeks filled with nuts.

"Kuh!"

"You're choking!"

"Ahm chokhin!"
