The coach ride to Zeus was an unpleasant one to say the least.
It had turned out that you weren't the only one to have booked the coach.
"Are you a hero, miss?" A young child with missing teeth spoke from his seat next to yours. The coach was double booked, and since you were only one, they saw it was no harm at making the two bookings in to one.
"No, but I help heroes"
"Heroes don't need help. Heroes help us!" Sighing, you thought about how this journey could have been a quieter one. The vehicle was filled to the brim with children who were on their way to Zeus for a school field trip.
"Heroes need our help too someti-"
"Who's your favourite hero? Mine is Gdragon!" The kid in school uniform interrupted, clearly showing his love and interest in heroes.
"Why do you like Gdragon?" You wanted to hear what his fans thought of him now, even if they were 7 year olds.
"He's so cool and strong! He can make fire as big as my house- no, even bigger!" You smiled at his expression, finding that he had reminded you of yourself when you were younger.
"Gdragon is too loud, Sehun is way better and much cooler" a girl behind you spoke up in an annoyed tone.
"Sehun is boring! Gdragon can fight the villains without even looking!"
"Miss, you agree with me, don't you? Sehun is much cooler and much smarter than GDragon" the blonde girl asked, waiting confidently for your reply.
"I think Taemin is cool"
"The healer? He does nothing but stay back" the girl stated.
"Yeah, he doesn't even fight the villains" the boy added.
"He helps the group when they need it" you tried to persuade them. They still looked unconvinced as they looked at each other before looking back at you.
"You're very weird, miss"
"InHa! So sorry about the students bothering you, it won't happen again. Apologise, both of you!" Their teacher exclaimed and making the children apologise to you.
"It's okay, they're only children. Plus, it's good to see them speak their opinions, even if it is by insulting me" you chuckled before giving the duo a fake glare. The children were shocked at your response, not getting angry at them as adults would usually.
"Still, apologise children!"
"Sorry for calling you weird, miss" the girl spoke before the boy followed after.
"Its okay, friends?" You gave both of them a hand each to which they gladly shook.
"Friends!"
---------------------2 hours later-----------------
"Wait, you're coming with us?" InHa questioned while getting off the coach with you.
"Yep, I'm going to be working here-"
"As a hero?!" You shook your head and watched as the girl's excitement depleted.
"Oh, then as what?"
"I help heroes train" the girl nodded, understanding your role now. The 7 year old seemed too old for her age, she analysed things like an adult would and gave arguments when she could back it up. You noticed it at the beginning of the journey as well.
"Wait, does that mean you know Jungkook?" You raised your brow in confusion, how does she know him? He didn't debut as a hero yet and even if he was on tv recently, the kids would hardly remember.
"Yes? How do you know-"
"InHa!" You looked up to see the mentioned brunette with his arms wide open and looking straight at the girl in front of you.
"Jungkook!" InHa immediately ran over to him and jumped in his arms as he lifted her into the air.
"How is my favourite little princess?" He cooed while booping her nose. The blonde girl smiled widely at the compliment before answering his question.
"Better now that I get to see you!" You stood there confused with your mouth open. What is going on?
"Y/N? You're here too?" He walked over to you while still holding InHa in his arms. His heart lightened at the sight of you, knowing that you were going to be with him for the upcoming week.
"Yeah, this week is Zeus' turn..." your eyes trailed between the two of them, hoping that one of them would explain how they knew each other."Oh right! Y/N, meet my little cousin, InHa" clicking your tongue in realisation that they were family, you couldn't help but notice that their smiles were very similar.
"We have already met but hello again" you chuckled. Not sure if he had heard correctly, he raised a brow before carrying on.
"You know InHa?"
"Yeah! She's a nice lady" the little girl exclaimed with a toothy smile. Jungkook was happy to see you two being comfortable with each other, making his heart warm at the sight in front of him.
"Ah, Jungkook. You're a hero now, I see" the teacher said in a shocked tone while walking over after telling the other teachers to take the children inside.
"Ah, Miss Cha. Still alive, I see"
"It still baffles me that you even passed the paper exams to be a hero.... It's nice to see you again, Jeon Jungkook" smirking, the brunette placed his little cousin down so that she could join her class.
"Likewise" and with that, she had left the both of you alone and headed inside.
"... your old teacher?"
"No, she's my really old teacher" he joked while you rolled your eyes.
"Hurry, let's get inside. I'm going to start sneezing soon" before you could take a step, the younger took your heavy sound board from your shoulder and proceeded to take it inside for you. You sighed to yourself at his usual behaviour before following him inside.
