Red POV:

Isadora smiled at me as I walked from the packhouse, "you look lovely red."

"I am very excited." I confessed, "prince Julius has taken this afternoon off to come see me shop for my wedding gown."

She looked a bit nervous at the thought but smiled none the less, "we are to meet him at the shop?"

"Yes, then we are going to tea."

"...we are?"

"We are." I stated, "fret not the prince is just a man who happens to adore my lovely self. He treats me as if we were family."

Isadora looked as if she wished to protest but said nothing of the sort, "whatever makes you happy Red. Its your day."

I smiled softly as we started down the path. "It is isnt it? My wedding is for Zander and I but the day I buy my dress is all mine."

"It is." She agreed.

No politics, no duty, no expectations. Just me and the dress I so desire.

Zander smiled at me as we approached him and a few of the visiting Alphas.

He asked that I say goodbye before heading to the shops, so he wouldn't worry.

"You look gorgeous Red." He practically purred, leaning down and kissing me softly.

"Its my day." I murmured back.

He looked at me quizzically but smiled anyways, "of course it is."

"I have no responsibility today."

"Well... you aught to find your dress so we can be wed." He replied, amused.

I waved a hand at him, "other than that. Today, even the prince has a different guard."

"Then yes. No responsibility."

"I have never had such a day." I stated, "Whatever will I do?"

"Whatever you wish."

I blinked at him, slightly puzzled, "then I shall come back when I get bored and we can have dinner."

He hesitated a moment, "well...you have no responsibility today my love, I on the other hand..."

"Will finish early and then have a quiet evening with me." I stood on my toes, kissing his cheek softly, "let us go before we are late Isa."

The old woman followed me through the trees, perplexed smile upon her lips.

"Prince Julius!" I waved a bit at the tall man standing in front of my most favorite dress shop in Vanderdash, "you are early for once."

He smiled slightly, stepping from between two of his Scarlet guardsmen, "Red, I would never be late for this, its your wedding a war wouldn't stop me from helping you decide which dress will emphasize your beauty the most."

I smiled up at him, "they had several custom dresses sent here for my wedding from my favorite designers."

I could see Julius totaling how much I spent in his head for a moment before he seemed to simple shrug it off, looking at Isa behind me and smiling broadly, "you must be Reds friend, miss Dorian?"

Isa smiled, "no ones called me Miss Dorian in ages, while its nice to hear my late husbands name I insist you call me Isa your highness."

Julius grinned at her, "and call me Julius, any friend of Red is a friend of mine and the pomp and circumstance on such a lovely day seems ridiculous."

Isa smiled almost shyly as the price offered her a hand up the steps as I practically bounced up them, "I think I shall be the most beautiful bride in the kingdom."

Isa smiled endearingly at me as Julius chuckled.

The older woman took a look around the shop, "I am sure you could wear anything Red, and Zander would find you to be the most beautiful woman in all the kingdoms."

I blushed a little, allowing the shop assistant to take my coat.

I aptly ignored the two guardsmen who stood in the corner of the room, watching as Julius, Isa, and I were sat upon a plush velvet couch.

There were extra assistants in today, despite the shop being closed for my shopping experience -something Julius insisted upon doing for me- each of them fluttering around with small finger foods, champagne, and various dresses.

Angelano, walked into the room wide grin on his face as he took a sweeping bow, "Red dearest, your highness, and the lovely Isa I am honored you chose my humbled shop for your wedding."

Julius took a glass of champagne off the tray, slightly amused by the outlandish man, Isa looked utterly flustered.

Julius handed her a glass as well with a wink, whispering softly, "Reds a favorite here because she doesn't know how to save money." He nodded to Angelano, speaking louder, "thank you Angelano, I trust you to hold nothing back, I am to pay for Reds dress."

I blinked at the prince, brows furrowed, "you are?"

"It is custom for the brides family to do so. I consider you mine."

I felt my cheeks warm a bit, "thank you."

He squeezed my hand before grinning, "now lets see our options."

Angelano snapped and we were presented with a parade of white dresses for me to try.

Some of the were automatic rejections, their necklines dipping to low, or their patterns not quite to my taste.

Others were separated a prepped with lines of accessories to try on.

"Anything standing out so far Red?" Isa asked.

I nodded slightly, "I will know more when I begin to try them on."

"And we will all struggle because you will look marvelous in them all." Julius noted.

"True. It will be difficult to decide. Angelano." I stated, "I would like to start trying on now."

The man paused as the next round was brought into the room, "now? But there or more."

"I trust Julius and Isa to know my taste."

As I walked into the dressing room I faintly heard Julius say, "that one looks like a rug, if you brought that to Red, she may just burn it."
