Audra's P.O.V.

I was shuffling through the cabinets, not having any luck on food or drinks. When that baby wakes up she is going to be very hungry and I felt bad for Dana also, she looked like she was all out of energy. I can only imagine if she was running with a little baby in her arms the whole time.

I sighed before taking in a sharp breath at a knock that suddenly appeared at the front door. I looked over at Dana and noticed that she was completely out cold, probably trying to gain sleep and energy back.

"Audra?" a weak voice faintly called out. I walked over towards the door, confused on why the name almost sounded familiar. I opened the door a little and noticed that a sandy blond hair boy was staring up at me weakly from the ground.

"Atlas? What happened?" I questioned while throwing the door open and looking at his legs that seemed to be broken. I also quickly covered my eyes and backed into the cabin as I realized that he had nothing on him.

I ran into the house to go get something for him to at least cover up. There were two young girls in the cabin and they did not have to see any of that at their age.

"Here," I said while throwing the shorts at him.

"That's going to be a little difficult," he mumbled, sounding a little in pain. My heart sank and I returned inside trying to find something else for him to use. I found a random blanket in one of the rooms and went back to the front door. I threw it on the ground and kept my eyes closed.

"You're okay now," Atlas said. I opened my eyes and noticed he was laying on the grass still with his arms spread out, but his legs were still twisted to the point of being extremely painful.

"What happened? How did you get here?" I questioned while trying to help drag him inside the house from under his arms. He was pretty heavy and kept hissing in pain at his legs, but I sadly didn't have the strength to lift him up.

"Sorry," I mumbled after getting him in the house and closing the front door.

"You're fine," he mumbled while his face looked beat red.

"What happened?" I asked for a third time, afraid that maybe the vampires got to him or something else happened.

"I transformed," he said, nearly out of breathe. I threw him a questioning look while his eyes were closed. I had no idea what he meant by that either and I wasn't sure if he was going to continue or not.

"When a Siren transforms for the first time, in fact any mythical creature, it is the most painful thing in the world," he whispered.

"Why did you transform?" I questioned, not really sure why he would even do that to himself.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay, and I was a little curious about this world," he explained while placing his hands behind his head and letting a little smile slip by.

"If you knew it was going to hurt why did you do it," I said, having the sudden urge to slap him upside the head. Why are guys such idiots? Even Grayson and Anthony have done stupid stuff that has gotten them both injured badly.

"I was asked to introduce myself and keep you safe, I didn't realize that you left the water and figured the only way to keep you safe was to follow you," Atlas said while smiling up at me.

"So how long will it take for your legs to heal? Do I also need to pop them back into place?" I questioned while pinching my fingers on my nose between my eyes.

"Two hours max, as long as I don't move I will heal pretty quickly," he says while closing his eyes.

"Can you at least put proper clothes on?" I questioned.
