Unconscious,
I need something to wake me up
when the indoors
and the city
puts me in a stupor. When the confines
threaten
to overwhelm me
to overshadow me
to put me in the coma that is monotony,
I drop it all
go away
to a place
only I know.Sapphire skies
ruby roses, reaching
dancing toward the heavens
and leaves
Whispering sweet comfort
in my anxious ear.
Keep calm, carry on.
Nature's song is a salvation-
beautiful, crazy
that always amazes me.
