Katherine. 

"You don't understand Dr Natalie, the Manchester brothers" I started and she interrupted me
"The Manchester brothers are out roaming the streets because you refuse to give any meaningful statement!" She yelled and I sighed

"The Manchester brothers are in danger, and so is Odette" I said and she laughed before pulling out a syringe

Couldn't she be more subtle?

"Get that thing away from me" I snapped and she laughed
"You need to relax Odette" she said and I scoffed
"No you need me to shut up and that's what you want to do" I said and she suddenly grabbed me

"Let go!" I yelled and she pierced my skin with the needle and was about to inject the substance when Korede held her
"She told you to get it away from her"

I guess the boyfriend is kind of nice

"Oops" she said as she injected the substance while Korede pushed her away. My vision became blurry and I held the bed to support myself before swaying and slipping into unconsciousness.

"I'm sorry Korede but she's not mentally stable!" Dr Natalie said
"Don't you think I know that!" Korede yelled in reply and I stirred from the noise before opening my eyes

I'm surprised Odette didn't use the opportunity to push me out

Odette, hello

I tried to reach her in my mind but she wasn't reaching out to me so I gave up and eventually sat up
"Odette, thank God" Korede said with urgency as he ran to my side
"How are you feeling?" He asked as he caressed my arm. I looked at the pattern his fingers were tracing before staring at the Doctor
"I'm angry" was all I said before pushing Korede and grabbing Dr Natalie
"Odette!"
"Its Katherine! Katherine as in Kathy!" I yelled.

I allowed Doctor Natalie to feel my emotions for a second and she became pale, very pale. I let her go and stared at the new environment in surprise

"I got you discharged out of the hospital" he said and I stared at the unfamiliar furniture
"This isn't Odette's house" I noted and he nodded before rushing to Natalie who was trembling
"What did you do to her?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes
"Where's Odette's parents?" I asked him and he hardened his gaze

"I said what did you do to her!" He yelled and I sighed
"You know how she always tells Odette, to express her emotions and let her in?" I asked and Korede furrowed his eyebrows
"Well I only expressed my emotions a tiny bit, and let her in just a little"  I said and Korede carried her
"You're sick Katherine" he spat and I laughed
"The damn therapist couldn't even handle what she saw" I said and Korede placed her on the couch before grabbing a blanket from his room and covering her shivering body with it.

"What do you want?" He asked me and I sighed
"I want to know the truth Korede, so that I can finally be at peace" I said and he sat down beside Natalie while stroking her hair
"You're getting really cosy with the Doctor, Korede. Your girlfriend isn't dead" I said and he stared at me defensively
"What are you insinuating?" He asked and I replied
"What are you defending?"

"Korede I was murdered. All I know is how I died and that is by drowning. I don't remember my life, parents or who killed me" I said and he sighed
"So you want me to play detective?" Korede asked and I nodded. He stared at me blankly before laughing hysterically. I glared at him as his laughter intensified before releasing my emotions
"You think this is funny? I died Korede!" I snapped and the whole place became cold which made Korede to have a serious facial expression

"You're actually serious?" He asked and I nodded
"When I touch someone they see how I died. Odette doesn't, which made her body perfect for me to jump into. So now I'm going to ask for a favour" I said and he nodded
"Let me touch you" I said and he stared at me weirdly before laughing
"You touched Nat and she hasn't snapped out of it and you want me to agree for you to mess up the little sanity I have left? No thanks" he said and I massaged my forehead

"That's the easiest way to solve this mystery Korede. I promise I'll let Odette go" I said and we jumped when a voice spoke up
"Or you can just ask me how you died"

Natalie

I took in a deep breath and Korede grabbed her hand before squeezing it reassuringly.

"Let's start shall we?" I said then sat opposite her.  "When I touched you, what did you see?" I asked her and she took a deep breath
"I saw a black car and two girls inside it, one was controlling the wheels and the other was pressing the brakes and accelerator" she said and it suddenly came to me

Francis

"Francis" I whispered before feeling a sharp pain in my head
"Oh God" I yelled and Korede rushed to my side
"Sorry, we don't have to do this" he said and I shook my head while ignoring the pain numbing all reasons in my head.

"Go on Natalie" I said and she nodded while shaking.
"I'm assuming the girl below was you and the girl with the staring wheel is my sister!" She said and I turned to her
"What?" I whispered and she nodded
"That's Francis my sister. That's why I was so shaken up" she said and I nodded while trying to calm my shaky heart

"Is that where it stops?" I asked her and she nodded
"I need to touch you" I said and Korede held me
"Katherine no!" He yelled and I glared at him

You're lucky I'm weak right now
"Why? I have the answer and can leave your lives right away" I said and he shook his head
"This is news Katherine, for you and for Natalie, the two of you are weak" he said and I shook my head
"I'm not weak" I denied and he touched below my nose and showed me his finger

Blood

"Whatever you're doing, Odette is feeling it, please stop" he pleaded and I nodded. I relaxed my muscles and let my guard down, then I heard her, Odette

"Hi Kathy"
"Odette I still need more time" I pleaded and I saw her taking control of her mind and body
"Odette no!" I yelled.

Korede stared at my as I clutched my head
"Kathy?" He said a I felt more blood trickle down my nose.
"Odette!" He yelled as he grabbed me
"Katherine get out!" He yelled and I shook my head
"I have to know everything, arg!" I yelled when another wave of pain hit my and stars started dancing in my vision before everything turned black.

I opened my eyes and stared at Korede who was looking at me with so much worry and confusion.
"Odette?" He asked me and I hugged him
"Sorry to disappoint you, Odette doesn't seem to want to come out" I said and he pushed me away
"Don't try anything Katherine" he said and I sighed
"Korede I just want to die in peace! Knowing that my family got justice for me! Is that too much to ask?" I asked with tears in my eyes and he sighed

"Fine" he said
"But I want Natalie to be awake. I don't trust you" he said and I shook my head
"You don't get it Korede" I sobbed
"I don't trust Natalie, I never did. Know that she's Francis sister makes it even worse" I cried and he sighed
"Let's do this tomorrow, okay?" He said and I nodded
"You can take the guest room, Nat and I will share my room" he said and I felt Odette anger seep through my emotions
"I don't think Odette likes that" I said and he shook his head
"I trust Natalie more than I trust you Kathy, tell Odette that I'm crazy about her and nothing will happen between us" he said and I nodded. He led me to the room and left immediately, which gave me time to admire the whole setting

Beautiful

"Katherine!" Odette called and I sat down before diving into our subconsciousness
"Hi Odette" I said and stared at where she chose
"Why did you choose this place?" I asked her and she shrugged
"I guess I just miss ballet" she said as she stared at the ballet studio back in Nigeria. Suddenly Tchaikovsky's sleeping beauty began to play and she began to dance
"You're so calm about this" I said and she ignored me and continued dancing
"Did you just call me here to dance!" I yelled and she stopped abruptly
"I know how you died. I know everything Katherine" she said and I gasped
"Odette how?" I asked and she laughed
"I just know, I don't know how" I said and she gave me a sad smile
"I'm so sorry Katherine" she said before walking towards me
"You deserve everything life has to offer you" she said and I felt my eyes sting with tears
"Odette" I sobbed and she hugged me
"But I'm not ready to let go Katherine" she said and I felt a sharp pain in my head before everything went black.
