Odette

Korede and I didn't say a word to each other as he drove to the Ballet studio. Natalie sat in front while I stayed behind. Kathy stared at me with a worried expression and I ignored it altogether. We got to the studio and came down. Nat and Kathy walked in front and Korede walked behind me.

A class was currently on going and Francis motioned for us to come in
"Good morning" she said with a smile before turning to me
"Odette, how are you?" She asked me and I gave her a fake smile
"Peachy" I said and Natalie smiled at Francis who gave her a tight lipped one
"How's my baby sister doing?" Natalie asked Francis who motioned with her hand to the class
"Busy" she said before tossing a tutu at me

"Why don't you join the class Odette, then we can talk" she said  and smiled
"We're having a show; swan lake, and its only fitting that Odette should play Odette" she commented and Korede scoffed
"What do you want Francis?" Korede asked and she smiled
"I want Odette to resume her ballet classes and I will tell you everything I know after the show" she said and I glared at her

"That's bullshit!" I yelled and she rolled her eyes.
"You can start your first class today" she said with a teasing voice before thinking
"And Korede can join you" she said and his eyes grew wide in shock

"Sorry, I don't dance. Besides, I have work to do"  he said and I tossed her tutu back at her before turning to walk away
"Wait!" She yelled with desperation and I smiled smugly before stopping
"The studio is always open at Night. You and Korede can come here by 7 and leave by 9" she said and I continued walking
"Odette" Korede called and I sighed

Now's not the time Korede

"Okay, for each ballet class I will give you information about Kathy" she bargained and I shrugged

Makes sense

I turned back to them and smiled while Kathy rolled her eyes and Korede scoffed

"We start tomorrow" I said and she shook her head
"No we start tonight, the big show is next week" she said and I paused before thinking

Wasn't it foolish to enlist two people on short notice when you had students at your disposal?

I smiled and Korede nodded

"Let's go" Korede said and Nat smiled
"I want to stay with Francis for a while, you can go ahead" she said and I left the studio with Korede behind me.
"I'll listen to what they're saying" Kathy said and disappeared into the studio.

I entered Korede's car and it was silent. He got in also and started the car before driving off.
"Odette" he said and I sighed
"No Korede, I'm sorry" I said and he parked the car before staring at me
"You can talk to me Odette" he whispered and I looked away
"I'm not ready" I choked out and he took my palm and intertwined out finger before kissing it
"I love you Odette, no matter what" he said and I felt my eyes sting with tears
"I love you to Korede"

"You brought me to your place of work?" I asked with one eyebrow raised and he chuckled
"What would you have been doing at home?"
"Um hello, the diary?" I replied stating the obvious and realization dawned on his features which made me to laugh. He suddenly had a smug smile before bringing out something from his cupboard
"You mean this diary?" He asked and I stared at it in shock before clapping

"Nice one Korede" I said and stood up to collect the diary but he hid it and pulled me to his lap so that I was straddling him
"What are you doing" I chuckled as he wrapped his arm around my waist with the diary behind me
