Chapter 10: Apology

The party seemed to have gone well. You didn't find any of the other boys you only saw Midorima.
Akashi had ask you to wait up in your room for a bit until everyone left. So you waited in your room when suddenly someone knocked on the door.
"Come in," you said.
The person who came in was Kise.
"Hi (Last Name)cchi," he said. But Kise didn't seem like his usual self. It was almost as if he was upset.
"What's wrong?" you ask.
He looks up at you shocked.
"Oh it's nothing (Last Name)cchi! You don't have to worry about me," he exclaimed waving his arms.
You could tell he wasn't fine. You always know when Kise is in a good mood or not.
"Kise-kun," you said sternly.
"Really (Last Name)cchi I'm fine..." he trailed off then looked away.
You sigh and walk towards him.
"Kise-kun, if there's something you want to tell me, you should tell me now because I'm in a good mood," you hold his face in your hands so he's looking at you.
He blushes then nods. You smile and lead him to the bed where you both sit down.
"(Last Name)cchi, I-I...." he starts to tear up. "I'm so s-sorry," he says in between sobs.
"K-Kise-kun why are you crying!" you say worryingly.
He grabs ahold of your soft hands and squeezes them tightly.
"I made you cry! I can't believe I did such a thing," he exclaims.
You stared at him wide eyed. Then look away.
"I wasn't even able to face you this whole time because I was too upset to know I made you cry, I just couldn't possibly face you,"
"Kise-kun I-" he cuts you off.
"I love you (Last Name)cchi!" he shouts all of a sudden.
You're shocked and you blushed.
"Ever since the day we met I loved you! Seeing you cry tore me apart, and the fact that I was the one who made you cry, I can't I just can't," he loosens his grip on your hands and looks down.
"Please Kise-kun don't apologize, I should apologize for yelling at you and everyone," you said calmly.
"No! You had every right to yell at me!" he shouts.
"B-But it didn't feel right,"
No matter how mad you were at them you just couldn't bring yourself to hating them. You have no idea why you told them that one day.
"It may not have felt right, but you made us realize how we treated you was wrong and we should have never listened to-" Kise stopped his sentence there.
Listened to who?
"What are you talking about Kise-kun?" you ask.
"Nothing forget what I said," he grips your hands tightly again. "(Last Name)cchi could you ever forgive me?" he sounds as if he's begging.
You have been thinking lately about everything and Kise's apology is starting to make you realize something too.
"I-I think I can," you look into Kise's eyes and he looks into yours.
Kise slowly moves closer and closer to your face, then finally closes the gap between you two in a soft and gentle kiss.
"I love you (Last Name)cchi," he cups your face.
You blush. "I-" you're cut off by the door flying open.
"Ryōta, (First Name) downstairs now," Akashi demanded.
You both quickly jump up with a tint of red on both of your faces.
"Hai!" you both shout in sync and head towards that door.
What's wrong with him?
