The forbidden grimoire

They say that there's a book that can grant you any wish it can raise the dead, do anything you want except it can't buy you anything that book was guarded by demons alone....it's hard to come across! The only problem is that the book is in hell and the only way to get it is to travel through the gates of hell and past the demon guards! Sure it might sound as easy as it is but it's not,even angels tried to get their hands on it so they can guard it and they failed....every one in the entire galaxy tried so hard to get it  but the guards have always tried to stop them or John Constantine of course! Today marks the day where lily is going to try her best to get that book one way or another! Meanwhile back at the brig the team stood together to discover their next plan of attack to defeat Damien dark!he was in 1947!!! The Cold War! The legends were stumped they didn't understand why he was in 1947 the only thing they do understand is that they have to stop him before he messes with the timeline, "Ray I want you to go get John and tell him there's trouble" Sarah said with a worried look "yes ma'am" after the team was confused on what to do ray went to johns room to fetch him but when the door opened ray found the room really messy! He even heard yelling of some sort "John! Are you in here!! Are you ok" ray didn't want to be to nosy he didn't want to look around but if he had to get John no matter what the cost, "bloody hell...for the last time lily you are not going to hell to get the grimoire I forbid it" John was starting to get annoyed at this point "WHY NOT!! you went to hell before so how come I can't go!" Lily felt like she was on the verge of tears "because the grimoire is being guarded by demons and if you go to hell to retrieve it then I won't be able to save you! So for the last time your not going!" John looked at lily for a second and looked at ray, he didn't realize that he was standing there "how long have you been there!" He asked "for about 10 minutes...umm Sarah needs you out on the brig" ray wanted to help out lily and John with their relationship but was worried what would happen if he did

"Alright I'll be out in the meantime can you babysit lily please" at this point John was worried that she would actually go to hell and get the book "lily Constantine behave for Raymond! Or else" John looked at ray one last time "thanks mate" he said. Seconds later when ray was reading one of Johns books called "how to fix a relationship" lily had looked at ray and started to ask questions "tell me mr Palmer....would you do anything for love!" All of a sudden rays world has stopped like he knew what he would do for love even if it meant protecting them from harm "w-why do you ask!" Lily just had assumed that he would do anything "no reason it's just I need a certain book to help out someone I love before it's to late that's all" "I'm assuming it's the grimoire!" Ray slowly interrupted her "yes, it's the only way I can save him and it's in hell I just need to go home to grab afew things then I'll be all set" Ray did feel bad for lily but he didn't want to betray John trust by helping her out "okay so I can take you to where you want to go you just need to tell me where" ray said with excitement "so that means your gonna help me!!" Lily was excited at this point "of course I'll do anything to help out a friend's daughter" lily had smiled when Ray was gonna help her out "follow me" ray grabbed lily right behind him, he was leading her to the jump ship where he can take her, "so where do you live!" Ray asked "it's a small tavern in the woods my dads friend used to own place his name was jasper! My dad owed him a favor! But now he's gone" lily didn't really know jasper that well! When John told lily of how he came to be and how he owns the place she started to feel bad for him!

"Lily, I'm sorry!" Ray didn't realize that John had a terrible sad past, 10 seconds later when ray and lily had arrived at the bunker Chas had saw the two show up, he didn't know who the tall guy was but he did see lily and he was excited to see her for the first time in awhile "lily!" Chas stopped what he was doing and dropped everything! He ran towards lily when he did this he had picked her up and gave her a hug "I missed you so much, where did you go? Where is John? What happened?" Chas had so many questions "I'm fine I went to go find dad and I did I found him uncle chas! He's fine too," lily had gave Chas a hug back "where's zed?" She asked "zed is with the police she's helping them solve a case!" Zed was a really good friend of John Constantine and Chas. As for ray he didn't understand what was going on but he was proud of lily "oh! Uncle Chas this is my friend ray Palmer" Chas had walked up to ray and shook his hand "nice to meet you! Thank you for bringing her back home" Chas was happy to have lily home "no problem" ray said with a smile....lily looked at Chas "uncle Chas what do you know about the forbidden grimoire!" At this point Chas was a little frightened to hear about a book that John tried to use
