I move my legs to the Coffee Point and I notice the barista chuckling as she sees my face. I just sigh squeezing my eyes shut as I get there.

"Looks like you need it. What happened?" Gaia says pouring some wine into a coffee cup and I let my head fall on the counter and let out a groan.

"I might have just embarrassed myself in front of everyone again." I say looking at her. I take the cup and gulp and the wine down. "I need more." I tell her and she laughs taking the cup refilling it. "So he took my phone and I think he read these." I say showing Gaia my phone. As she reads them I take another sip from the cup. I hear her giggling and I look down.

"I need more context. Why did he have your phone?" She asks and I sigh explaining the worst thing that had happened these days.

"That's amazing." She laughs and I furrow my brows not understanding what is so amazing. "Well, obviously he did take some interest in you, because he wouldn't have cared if you stayed on your phone, and I bet he had a blast reading those texts." She winks and I still don't see what is so amazing about that.

"You do realize that if he read those texts, he knows I have a 'daddy list' and knows the fact that he is on that list." I say covering my face with my hands embarrassed.

"I don't think it comes as a surprise to him that everyone in that room wants to fuck him. It's no biggie, seriously, stop freaking out. For him it's just another Thursday, but it's still cute he took the time to actually talk to you and that he wanted to make you feel special." Gaia smiles to me and I take a deep breath in.

"You are right. Plus, I wasn't the only one he addressed to out of nowhere. There were other people he had some inside jokes with." I say relieved and finally the voices stop howling in my brain. "When are you off work?" I ask and she checks the clock.

"Around 9 pm, so I still have a few good hours of staying here." She sighs as it's only 1 pm.

"Well, uhm, would you like to hang out when you're off? I feel like leaving the hotel and plus I really need to pay you back from all the wine you've been handing out to me." I ask feeling like shit for drinking for free.

"I am flattered, and I would come with you, but I promised my girlfriend I'll go out with her tonight and she's going to kill me if I don't." She explains and I nod.

"Oh, right. I uhm, didn't you were -gay. I didn't mean to come off to you like I was asking-"

"It's okay, you didn't. I honestly would've come with you, but a promise is a promise." she cuts me off as I mumble like a lunatic.

"Yeah, no, I understand, no problem." I smile drinking more wine.

"But if you don't have to attend to anything now, I can take a break and go to this bar down the street and we can drink there." Gaia offers and I check the schedule.

"You sure you can leave?" I ask and she nods.

"Yeah, I have a one hour break everyday, this convention job is pretty flexible, and they don't quite care I am tipsy if I can make one good cup of coffee." Gaia explains and I nod smiling. She puts a sign on that she's out from 1:15 to 2:15 and I take my bag following her outside.

"So how long did you know that you were gay?" I ask her and I am afraid I might have just gone too personal with that question.

"I can't remember a time I wasn't to be honest. I never quite felt attracted to men, I mean I can appreciate the way they look, I am just not into them. I tried forcing myself, but when I was in 9th grade I got drunk with my classmates and the person I wanted to kiss wasn't any boy, it was girlfriend." She explains smiling as we walk towards the bar she mentioned.
