Chapter 3: Bar Rumble

3rd Person POV

As Y/N and Yang continue to ride along the road. They passed by a sign which signifies that they have reached the city of Vale.

Yang: Well here we are, the city of Vale.

Y/N: Looked better than I expected it to be.

Yang: Well this city can be full of surprises Y/N. Lots of amazing things happen here and also some......

Y/N: Also somewhat?

Yang: Ummm Never mind that! Hey look a bar, I'll just drop you off here.

Yang stops her bike as Y/N proceeds to get down from it. He then admires the view of the city and the people. Y/N felt relaxed seeing this because he has been exploring different places in his homeworld and really never get to stay much in cities.

Y/N: So Yang, I have a question.

Yang: Go ahead.

Y/N: Why are there some people who possess the traits of animals?

Yang: Oh, those people are called Faunus. They are also citizens of vale and welcome to the people. Except for others who are idiots and show nothing but hate to Faunus people.

Y/N:  Those people will learn soon, it may not be right away, but soon they will. I'm glad to hear that you support the Faunus people.

Y/N made a sweet smile while giving that comment to Yang. Yang blushed by the comment of Y/N but Y/N can't see this because she was wearing a helmet still.

Y/N: One more thing Yang, I know what you were trying to say earlier. No city or place is perfect. Just around the corner, bad things will come... Anyways thanks again for the ride, I hope we get to see each other again soon.

Yang: Yeah, you too. Take care out there, don't want to see a cutie like you get in trouble.

Yang winked and started the engine of her bike as accelerated it afterward and left.

Y/N: Damn. What a flirt.

Y/N blushed again at the comment of Yang.
He now went inside the bar and was surprised that the bar was empty. The only people who were in the bar were two employees, one was a Faunus, both of them were cleaning tables and one girl who looks seems to be the bartender cleaning her mugs. Y/N sat at the station bar and proceeded to order a drink.

Bartender: What would it be sweetie?

Y/N: I don't really know the drinks around here. Can I have a glass of water?

Bartender: Coming right up.

Y/N: Thank you.

As the bartender was preparing the drink, a group of 4 guys entered the bar and were making a lot of noise. They sat at a table near Y/N and started to converse about their hate for Faunus. Y/N was disturbed by this and wanted to shut them up but he does want to cause a ruckus so he just let them be for now.

Bartender: Here you go.

Y/N: Thank you. Ah refreshing. 

Bartender: You're not from around here aren't you?

Y/N: You're not the first one to say that.

Bartender: Well, where are you from exactly?

Y/N: Let's just say that I'm a stranger who is just passing by.

Bartender: Whatever you say sweetie.

As Y/N continued to enjoy his drink. He noticed that the four guys started to harass the Faunus employee. The other employee stepped in and told the four guys to leave but still continued to harass the Faunus.

Bartender: Sorry for the ruckus.

Y/N: It's alright, an expected outcome once they entered.

One of the guys suddenly tapped Y/N on his shoulder and asked him a question

Guy 1: Hey you, Faunus people are degenerates, they are nothing but slaves to us. Am I right?

He raised his hand up in order to receive a high five from Y/N. But Y/N left him hanging and started to get pissed at what he said.

Y/N: You know people like you are the ones who deserve to be punished for being complete shitheads to people like them.

Angered by the comment of Y/N, the guy tried to throw a punch on Y/N but didn't because instantly grabbed his face and slammed it against the floor. This knocked out the guys instantly while the other three turned to Y/N and charged at him. Y/N blocked one of that guy's punches and threw a hook which knocked the guy out. The other guy unleashed a fury of punches but Y/N kept swaying so nothing hit him. Y/N gave the guy a front kick which hit him on the jaw and a Roundhouse which put the guy to sleep. Y/N then faced the last guy who was trembling in fear after seeing his friends get knocked out by one guy

Y/N: Apologize to the Faunus Girl right now. Unless you wanna end up like your friends?

Guy 4: Alright I'm sorry. Sheesh.

Y/N grabs the guy by the wrist and twists it, letting the guy groan in pain.

Y/N: Say it again, like you mean it. You don't want to have a broken arm, do you?

The last guy starts to cry after being threatened by Y/N

Guy 4: I'm...Sorry.

The Faunus girl employee starts to smile again and bows to the guy that apologized.

Y/N: Get out of here and bring your friends with you.

The guy starts to carry his friends and proceeds to exit the bar.

Faunus Girl: Thank you...

Y/N:... My Pleasure.

She then suddenly hugs Y/N while tears were starting to flow from her eyes. Y/N smiled at this and started to pat her head which made the Faunus girl comfortable.

Bartender: Thanks for helping her out sweetie and for that, drinks on us.

Y/N: Thanks for the offer. But I better get going, need to explore the city.

Y/N stood up from his chair up and head straight for the exit. Once he opened the door, a man with a black and green suit, who has white hair and is holding a cane was standing in front of Y/N

Y/N: Oh. I'm sorry.

???: It's alright, may I get your name young one?

Y/N: Y/N sir. 

???: Well Y/N, my name is Professor Ozpin and I am the Headmaster of Beacon Academy.

Y/N: Oh cool, even though I never heard of that academy before.

Ozpin: Well it looks like it, but I have something to offer to you young man.

Y/N: And what would that be Professor Ozpin?

Ozpin: Would you like to study in my school?
