Chapter 6

Authors POV

Brick and Blossom walked up to an apartment door.

It was time to question the ex wife, buttercup.

Brick knocked on the door both hoping for someone to open the door.

"Hello?" Someone slightly opened the door. It was a man with forest green eyes.

"Hi." Blossom smiled sweetly. She raised her hand to show her badge.

"Is Buttercup Green there?" She asked as a raven haired women was seen.

"Who's asking?" The raven haired asked as she rapped her arms around the man at the door.

"I'm detective Blossom and I need to ask her a few questions about Luis." Blossom said

"Your talking to her come in." Buttercup said as they walking into the apartment.

"What did Luis do?" Buttercup asked.

"He's dead." Brick blurted out.

"W..what?" Buttercup said shocked. The man caught her before she could even fall

"I'm guessing your Butch." Brick asked as the man nodded.

"What is Blair going to feel." Buttercup mumbled but everyone could hear her.

"I take it that's your daughter." Blossom asked as Buttercup nodded.

"Yeah she loves Luis even though he was a bad husband he was a great father." Buttercup admitted

"Where is you daughter right now, Ms. Green?" Blossom asked

"She's at school." Buttercup was leaning against Butch.

"Um. Do you have anyone who would want to kill Luis?" Brick asked as he crossed his arms.

"Everyone. He can easily get hatted." Buttercup looked at Butch and Butch kissed her forehead

"How is your relation to Luis?" Blossom asked looking at Butch.

"I'm just the guy who's married to his ex wife that's all." Butch explained. "We don't even know each other."

Blossom and Brick gave each other glances and then back at the couple.

Blossom nodded and grabbed a card.

"Thank you for our time and here is our number for you to call us if anything is needed." Blossom smiled as Buttercup grabbed the card

"Thank you." She said as Blossom and Brick began to walk out of the apartment.

"Wait!" Butch ran to them.

They both looked back

"I'm pretty sure there is someone who would actually kill Luis." Butch said

"Who?" Blossom asked

"Ace." Brick was shocked Blossom looked at him confused

"Does Ace have a last name?" Blossom asked. "No." Both men said. Blossom turned to Brick

"He is in the gangreen gang." Butch asked as Blossom nodded

"How do you know this?" Blossom asked

"When Luis comes over he rants about everyone to Buttercup." He explained

"Ok. Thank you." She said as Butch nodded and they walked off.

"How do you know Ace?" Blossom asked as she stared at Brick

"We are like frenemies." Brick said as they hopped into the car.

Blossom nodded and drove off.
