"You need to try on this one, and this one.... oh and this one," Nami said as she handed you dress after dress. You and her were out shopping for dresses for the fall formal, you'd asked her to come along because she has a great fashion sense, but now you're starting to regret it as your arms start to ache from all the dresses she's handing you.

"Ummm... Nami don't you think we should try these on before grabbing more?" You suggested to your friend, she nodded along in agreement and led you over to the changing rooms. You were lucky there wasn't many people at the mall today so the two of you were able to get changing rooms right away, plus that meant you guys could have your own mini fashion show.

"Hmmm... this ones nice but it might show to much boob. What do you think?" Nami asked seems she already got into her first dress. You quickly slipped into the first dress you were trying on and stepped out of the changing room to join Nami.

"Maybe for school it's too much boob, but it is a nice dress." You told your friend, she was wearing a navy blue floor length chiffon dress that had short flowly sleeves and a deep v-cut neckline. You're pretty sure if she moved at all her chest would be on full view for anyone to see.

"Hugh your right. That dress is nice too, but not the right one for you." Nami said eyeing up the purple silk dress you were wearing. Which she was right, it was a nice dress, but it felt like it was lacking something. Nami went into your changing room and started rooting through the pile of dresses she hand giving you, a small 'aha' left her lips as she pulled out a short sparkly red dress that had long sleeves. "This will look perfect on you. And since you and Kid are coming in on a motorbike this dress will be easier to maneuver in."

"You're right. Give it here," you said excitedly snatching the dress from your friend and closing your dressing room door.

OH MY GOD!

The dress looked fabulous on you. It went down to just below your knees and had a slit going up the right side that stopped mid-thigh, the fabric of the dress hugged your curves perfectly, and the v-neck of the dress showed enough while still covering enough.

"EEeekkk!!! You look amazing!" Nami shreeked as she ripped open your dressing room door, startling you a bit. She pulled you into a great big hug and started jumping up and down with you, you couldn't help but chuckle at her antics.

"Hehehe, good cause I love it. Now we need to find you a dress and then get some shoes," you said. You walked over to Nami's changing room and looked over the variety of dresses she picked out. Your eyes finally settled on a orange silk dress that was floor length and had pearls for the straps. "This one will look great on you."

~Time Skip~

After purchasing your dresses, you and Nami both got a pair of shoes that matched nicely with your dresses and some new makeup. Somehow your orange haired friend had managed to convince you to pay for her stuff as well saying she'd take it off the debt you already owed her. You didn't mind too much, your uncle had given -more like forced- you to take his credit card to pay for whatever you needed for the fall formal, nd technically speaking you did what your friend to be happy at the dance.

"Do you have a date for the formal?" You asked your friend as the two of you sat in the mall food court drinking bubble tea and sharing a thing of fries.

"*Sigh* No. Sanji did ask me, but he also asked half of the female population at school before asking me. That's kind of to be expected of him though. I wish I had a boyfriend like you, then everything would be easier." Nami confessed, taking a long sip from her drink.

"Well Sanji is an expert flirter and an expert at getting rejected. I don't think Ace has a date, I could ask him to go with you." You said, you watched as Nami's cheeks and ears turned a bit red and she nearly choked on one of the pearls from the bubble tea. You pat her on the back while she continued coughing and even though it was a bit rude you couldn't help but chuckle at your friend, her reaction was priceless.

"*Cough* I-I don't know *cough* I mean you guys are good friends and all." Nami coughed, she took another sip from her drink to try and soothe her throat.

"Yeah and..? I'm good friends with you too. You going to the fall formal with Ace isn't going to make me upset if that's what you're thinking." You told your friend, you moved back to your seat once she was done coughing.

"Yeah but... Ace spends so much time with you and he got all mad when you started dating Kid, so he must have a crush on you." Nami whined to you, all that left your throat was a hardy laugh as leaned back in your chair cackling at your friend's accusation. Your friend looked at you utterly confused, she then looked around the two of you seeing some people stop and stare at you. "S-shut up! What's so funny anyways?"

" I-it's its' just that... hehehe... Ace doesn't oh my god hahaha. Ace doesn't have a crush on me, he got upset because he sees me as a sister and is really protective of me. So he thought Kid wouldn't be a good guy for me." You explained to your friend, her lips were slightly parted and her eyes wide before you heard a groan escape from her throat and she slumped face first onto the table.

"Seriously? With the way he was acting I thought he was jealous of you dating Kid." Nami sighed out, she lightly hit her head on the table of few time before sitting back up a red blush across her whole entire face. "Then... then yes I'd like to go to the fall formal with him."

Hehehe... who knew she actually liked Ace this whole time.
