The pounding on the door became harder and then I could hear a voice calling.
"Kacey it's me!"
Heechul?
What the heck why is he here?
Heechul is my ex, but how did he find me?
I walked over and looked through the window.
I could see him standing there.
He looked somewhat different though.
I opened the door.
"Kacey!" He hugged me tightly.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I came for you. You weren't at school so I got worried." As Heechul finished his sentence I saw Jonghyun standing behind him.
He looked mad.
"Who the hell are you?" He spoke with his jaw clenched.
"Ah I'm just a friend." Heechul smiled.
Jonghyun was about to speak, but I stopped him quickly.
"Look he's just a guy I dated before. He's okay. Let's all go inside."
"Kacey you don't have time right now," Jonghyun whispered urgently.
"I know I'll handle it." I assured him.
We sat down and I had to think of a way to get rid of him there was only- 20 minutes left until midnight?!
Crap.
I need to act fast.
"So Heechul you came, you saw I'm fine you should leave right?"
"Pffft are you kidding me I'm here to visit you and Jonghyun," Heechul smiled.
Jonghyun raised an eyebrow.
"Oh visit. That's quite nice you Heechul." Jonghyun spoke with an attitude.
"Yeah buddy, Jonghyun." He smiled again.
"So how did you find us?" Jonghyun narrowed his eyes.
"Ah well I was worried so I looked for you guys. Come on you don't trust me Jonghyun?" Heechul joked.
I sat watching them converse trying to see what Jonghyun was trying to do.
Whatever it was he needed hurry up.
Time is running out.
"Funny. HEEChul. I don't quite remember telling you my name." Jonghyun leaned back in his chair.
"Ah well Kacey told me."
"Funny I don't recall that either." Jonghyun said getting up from his seat.
"A-ah well." Heechul stood up and was shaking a little.
"How the hell did you fucking find us Lee Joong?"
"Who's that?" Heechul asked trying to laugh about it.
Suddenly Jonghyun punched him in the face.
"YOU LITTLE BRAT!" Heechul shouted.
Suddenly he wasn't Heechul anymore, but an old man.
"I knew it!" Jonghyun shouted hitting the man again.
"Who's that?!" I asked scared and hid behind Jonghyun quickly.
"This Kacey is my uncle. The one who killed my mother!"
WHAT?!
Is he here to kill me too?!
"You will jot repeat your actions again!" Jonghyun aimed to hit the man again, but he caught his fist.
"Listen to me Jonghyun. She has the powers in her ashes! If we kill her after she transforms we can become the most powerful vampires!" His eyes wide and full of greed.
This man wants me dead?!
"You haven't changed you sick bastard. You won't lay a finger on her as long as I am still alive!" Jonghyun held on to my hand.
"You should have agreed while I was still being nice!" The man slapped Jonghyun.
Jonghyun punched him again.
The man turned and pushed us both and we landed on the floor across the room.
He began to head towards the door.
"I will give you one last chance. I will return in two weeks. If you haven't decided to pair up with me and she's still alive I will kill both of you."
"You'd kill your own nephew?!" I asked surprised.
"If he's in the way then of course."
With that the man disappeared into the dark night.
That's when the pain began in my body.
As if I was being burned alive from the inside.
