"Ok, you wait here. I'll be back," Griff said, patting my shoulder gently before rising from the bed and exiting the cabin.

I let out a sigh, already bored. Griff had been refusing my pleas to let me start walking. It turns out I sprained my ankle. He kept claiming that my ankle would heal faster the more I stayed in bed.

But it was getting monotonous just sitting there all day everyday. Griff did promise me that tomorrow he'd help me up so that we could set up our booth for the Kikiwaka Festival.

But that's around a day away. I tossed back and forth whether I should defy Griff or not before finally deciding to stand up.

I threw my legs over the side of the bed, allowing them both to reach he floor, I let out a breath before standing up fully.

My ankle hurt quite a bit, a biting sensation rushing through my leg, but I just took in another breath, ignoring it as I began to limp towards the door.

Before I made it out, though, the door to the cabin flung open, and Griff stepped inside.

"Ash!" He exclaimed. "What are you doing? Get back in bed!"

He grabbed my hand, gently leading me back to the bed.

"I just wanted to try," I lied.

Griff sighed. "Tomorrow you'll get to go out. For now, stay inside."

"Easy," Griff said, leading me out of the cabin and into the Great Lawn. I limped forward, leaning on Griff for support.

We slowly made our way to our booth, situated right in between Emma and Lou's.

"Hey, Ash, how're you feeling?" Lou asked me.

I held up a thumbs up just as Emma spoke: "I'm so excited for my very first Kikiwaka day festival!"

"It is awesome," Lou told us. "And like very year, my Kiki-Dogs are going to outsell all the other booths or my name isn't The Wacky Woodchuck!"

"That's your nickname?" Griff pondered.

"I've been trying to get it started," Lou confessed.

"Well, this year you're gonna have some competition," Emma said snarkily. "I'm in charge of selling Cookie-Wakas."

"And we're selling Camp Merch! Like friendship bracelets and t-shirts and necklaces," I told them.

Lou laughed. "Psh! What do you guys know about business?"

"Back in New York, I worked at a Snack Shack in Central Park," Emma explained. "Once I made $50,000 in one day."

"Wow," Griff marveled. "How much are hamburgers in New York?"
