Originally this had no pairing, but after I sent his to edit here comes Snow... you know what pairing might work here. well.. okay.

It was an end of an era.

Or a life in some ways.

Dream brushed away his tears, pausing as he packed up his things.

Twenty years in a marriage, and nothing to show for it. Ink just seemed to suck the life out of him.

He didn't know if he could continue as a Star Sans, either. After all, it would mean seeing Ink all the time.

Stars... what had happened to all the love, the magic in their relationship?

They'd made time in their lives to be together, and to see friends.

Dream was lucky to see Ink once every few months now, heck, he saw Error more often.

When the destroyer asked you if you were okay, you knew it was bad.

He hadn't even got a chance to tell Ink he was pregnant.

Kind of hard when Ink didn't come home for five months.

The last thing he did was place his ring on the side table and a letter, he'd already had the divorce approved.

"Goodbye, Ink," he whispered, and then was gone.

No one would see him again for a very long time.
