"It's nice to see you (y/n)..."

I looked up at Tom not knowing how to feel.

"You're muffin and tea will be out shortly that will be £6 please." I said trying to avoid the fact that he was here.

"Oh come on (y/n) don't be like that." He frowned

"I just...what do you want me to say?" I said softly

"I-I don't know..." he looked down.

I sighed "What are you doing here? I'm London I mean."

"I just got an apartment right across from where my family lives and they told me about your place and I had to see it." He smiled.

"I didn't know you moved back here."

"Yeah just a few days ago. Mum said she misses you and that you haven't been around much since I left for LA."

I nodded "well after we sorta faded I felt it would be weird to hang out with an exes family you know how it is." I shrugged.

"Yeah I understand...so uh this place is nice. I would ask you to join me for a cup of tea and catch up but it seems like you're busy."

"I'm not busy." I shook my head.

"Really? Well great! Where would you like to go?"

"Here is fine." I said as I grabbed the tea from the pot and put it in two cups and we walked over to a booth.

"So how's being Spiderman?" I smiled

He laughed "oh it's great, the people are great and it's so much fun just being able to do what I love."

"Yeah I'm really happy for you. Angie, one of my employees, loves you. And always wants me to come see the movies with her when they come out."

"Do you ever go?"

"No, no I didn't want to see them. Nothing against you of course, I just thought it would be too hard you know..." I said as I grabbed the cup and took a sip.

He let out a deep breath "look I'm sorry (y/n) I didn't mean to hurt you. It's just I got a new phone and I had to get all of my contacts back and my family didn't know where you were until last year when they found this place, it was like you had fallen off the globe."

"Yeah, I just didn't know how to react to you being gone I thought the best thing was to stop with everything and focus on my business."

"It seems that it worked."

"I guess we both made mistakes huh?" I looked into his eyes searching for some kind of emotion but he just looked numb.

"Yeah...so are you seeing anyone?" He blurted out not even realizing that he had said it.

"No. No I'm not seeing anyone." I blurted out as well. "A-are you?"

"Oh no, no I'm very single." He laughed.

Angie ran up to the table and Tom quickly hid his face "oh (y/n) I'm sorry I didn't know you were with-"

"An old friend..." I interrupted her "what's up?"

"Alex called he said he wanted to make sure you knew about date night tonight? He sounds like he has some romantic stuff planned."

"Oh my gosh Alex! Okay yeah tell him I'll be there."

"Okay...I'll go back to work now..." she said looking at Tom weirdly then walked away.

"So you are dating someone?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well yeah...technically."

"Why did you lie?" He asked confused.

"Because oh I don't know!" I groaned as I put my head on the table.

"You could have told me it's been four years (y/n) I would have assumed you would have started dating someone, it's not like-"

"I'm not in love with him." I interrupted

His eyes went wide with confusion "W-what?"

"I'm not in love with him."

"Well I mean uh..." he cleared his throat "how long have you guys been together?" he asked as he took a sip of his tea

"A year and a half."

"Woah! Really!?" He said now choking on his tea.

"Oh my gosh are you okay!?" I asked as I gave him a napkin.

He grabbed it and nodded "a year and a half you said?" He asked now calming down.

"Yeah..."

"(Y/n) I don't know about you but if you have been dating this guy for over a year and you still don't love him maybe you shouldn't lead the guy on? I mean we told each other we loved each other in four months!"

"I know..."

"Are you going to tell him about this?"

"I don't I don't know."

"Well I mean what's the worse that could happen really? You guys break up? I mean you literally forgot you were dating the man it's not like you'll miss him."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because if I break up with him then my feelings for this other guy will come back and I can't let that happen Tom! I cant!" I slammed down my fist making the tea cups clatter a little.

"Another guy? There was another guy? Why did you guys break up?"

"Oh well let's see, I told him to go to LA to ya know pursue his career and I thought he would keep in touch with me but he didn't not that it was his fault but nonetheless I'm still in love with you and I can't love anyone else because of it!"

He looked at me not knowing what to say as I tried to catch my breath.

I got up and grabbed his cup and mine.

"The tea is on me have a nice day." I said as I walked to the kitchen.

"(Y/n)...(y/n) wait!" Tom yelled.

"Oh my gosh!! Tom Holland!?" Angie yelled and walked up to him which made every teenager in the building freak out and run up to him leaving him in the midst of this huge crowd.

I walked into the kitchen and out the back door, tears streaming down my face as I sat on the small street behind the cafe.

I felt like everything that I had worked for, all of my feelings had been completely screwed up and it was because of him. He just had to come back and ruin my life...
