*Mafu POV
*"normal" life (irl) but Soraru has a girlfriend.
"Oh. My girlfriend's calling me."
Soraru said lazily to Mafu over their phone call,
"I'll call you back later, okay?"
Soraru asked through the phone. Mafu knew this was a lie. Soraru never called back when he said that. He either forgot or falls asleep.
"Ooh~~ sure you'll call me back."
Mafu said, sarcasm lacing his voice.
"I will! I will!"
Soraru said chuckling a bit. Then silence fell between the two. Who knows what soraru was doing but all Mafu did was wait.
"...I love you..."
Soraru said outloud. Mafu felt his face flush.
"I love you too...."
Mafu mumbled, embarrassed.
"Ah! That's so embarrassing!"
Made exclaimed. Mafu heard soraru's laugh through the phone.
"You made it awkward!"
Mafu said, flustered.
"It's only awkward if you make it awkward!"
Soraru said.
And the call ended.
"How unfair, soraru-San..."
Mafu whispered pitifully.
"You say stuff like that but leave me behind..."
Mafu put his arm over his eyes and dropped his phone on the bed.
Don't say you love me.. it'll only makes this unrequited love hurt more.
