Chapter 02 // Behind the Wall

Austria's POV

"Oh my goodness..." That was the first thing that came out of my mouth when I passed through the portal.

I can see a castle not so far away from where I am standing right now and I can't believe it. I mean, who would've thought that there's a castle behind the wall. This is surreal. I walked into the woods to go near the castle. Gusto kong makita nang malapitan. It's so beautiful.

But wait, if this place is where those two guys went, does that mean they live here? Are they part of a royal family? Like sons of a king and queen? They're princes?! If they are then wow, that would be so cool.

"Sino ka?" Napalingon ako nang may magsalita at nakakita ako ng isang kawal. Yes, a literal guard like those in a fantasy movies. Hindi ako nagsalita at tinignan lang siya. I don't know what to say. I'm speechless. Pero nagtaka ako nang bigla itong umalis. Eh? What's wrong? Where did he go? Bakit siya umalis?

Whatever though, I'll just enjoy the view. I'm standing in the middle of a brick bridge and the castle is right in front of me. Grabe. I never thought that I would be able to see a real castle. This is like a dream, really.

Habang pinagmamasadan ko ang palasyo ay napasigaw na lang ako nang biglang may humawak sa magkabilang braso ko. "Hey! Bitawan niyo ako!" giit ko sa mga kawal na humawak sa akin. Oo, mga kawal kasi may mga kasama na 'yung kawal na isa kanina. Nagtawag lang pala ng kasama kaya umalis.

Hirap na hirap akong magpumiglas dahil ang lalakas nila. Halos hilain na nga lang nila ako habang naglalakad kami. "Saan niyo ba ako dadalhin?" tanong ko pero hindi nila ako pinansin. Tsk!

Oh my goodness we're going inside the castle?

Hindi ko napigilang mapangiti nang maisip ko 'yon pero agad din iyong nawala nang hindi kami tumuloy. Akala ko makakapasok ako sa loob, dito lang pala sa gilid. It's an underground. Hindi ko alam kung anong meron sa loob dahil hindi pa naman kami tuluyang nakakapasok. And shoot, I'm doomed.

"Wait! Why are we in a prison? Wala naman akong ginagawang masama." Yes, it's an underground prison beside the castle. If ever I would be imprisoned, that is for sure I will be, at least it's in an underground prison beside a castle. Duh!

"Stop!" I shouted and furiously take their hands off of me. Glad I was able to do it, it hurts though. "Can I have a moment, please? I am not doing anything, okay? Hindi ako masamang tao. I accidentally got in here." I lied. "Like hello? Do I look like a bad guy to you guys? Just look at me, mukha ba akong may gagawing masama? Isa pa, ngayon lang naman ako nakarating dito. You have no rights to imprisoned me just because I was standing there and looking at your castle."

"I'm just appreciating its beauty. Wala kasing ganito sa lugar namin. And also, hindi niyo rin naman ako pwedeng ikulong na lang basta. You are probably considering me as a trespasser but it's not enough to put me in jail. Gano'n ba ka-big deal sa inyo kapag may ibang tao? Pwede naman 'tong pag-usapan hindi 'yong kulong agad. Just so you know, I won't do anything bad."

After saying those words they just looked at me like I was nothing but a stupid little girl who tried to explain herself and they don't care about anything that I just said. Geez.

Muli nila akong hinawakan sa magkabila kong braso at wala na akong nagawa pa. Wala naman palang silbi kapag magrereklamo pa ako at magpapaliwanag sa kanila dahil wala naman silang pake sa akin. I don't want to waste my energy to them. Tama na 'yong effort ko sa pagsasalita nang napakahaba tapos parang wala lang silang narinig. Bingi ba sila? Hindi ba nila ako naiintindihan?

They pushed me inside of the jail and left me. Can't they be gentle? Ang sakit na nga ng paghila nila sa akin kanina tapos itutulak pa ako ngayon. Grabe. Anyway, what will I do now? I am missing. I ruined the twins' birthday celebration. I am imprisoned in a place which I have no idea where. There's a little bit of chance that they can find me here. I mean, a wall that is actually a portal, who would believe that?
