Chapter 21 : A Week

Part 21

The funeral for my mom and dad has just ended. I was sitting there on the grass in between my mom and dad's grave. My uncle was a bit busy saying farewell to all the people who attended the funeral. It was raining but I could care less at the moment. My friends didn't leave yet and they were with my uncle under a tent provided for us. After a bit of just sitting there, I didn't feel any water drops on me anymore and looked up to see Sana holding the umbrella above us

Sana: Hey... we're thinking of going back, you should come with us now

Me: *sigh* I don't know, Sana.... I can't just leave them..

I said and looked at their graves. I started to tear up and cried a bit. I heard multiple of footsteps coming towards us.

Chaeyoung: Y/n.. you can't stay here forever

Me: I can..!

Nayeon: No you can't, Y/n.. we know it's hard, especially for you

Jihyo: Yeah, you staying here longer will make you feel worse than you already are...

I remove my hands from my face and saw Mina and Momo crouch down beside me. Momo puts an hand on my shoulder and Mina rubs my back

Mina: Think about it, Y/n. Your mom and dad wouldn't want you to be sad and stay here for the rest of your life

Momo: Yeah, Mina's right, Y/n. They would want you to keep doing what you always do and continue on with life

Taehyung: I bet they're always going to look after you whatever happens, so don't feel alone 'cause we are all here as well

I sighed and stood up. They're right, I shouldn't waste my time sulking

Me: You guys are right, sulking over them won't change anything

Jeongyeon: That's the spirit, Y/n

Tzuyu then went over to me and hugged me

Tzuyu: Don't worry, Y/n. We're here whenever you need us and whatever you need us for, you got that?

I nod and hugged back. I pulled away after a bit and Tzuyu wiped the tears off my face

Me: Thanks guys, I can't imagine what I would do if I didn't meet any of you

Dahyun: Aww, us too, Y/n~

Sana: We wouldn't want our closest friend to be broken

Momo: Plus no one would treat me food when I'm hungry!

Chaeyoung: Yeah! Me too!

We all shared a laugh. Then my uncle walked up to us

Uncle: Alright kids, ready to head home? You can all stay for as long as you want at the house

We all nod and the half of us went in my car while the others went in my uncle's car. I took one last look at my parent's graves and sighed. Jeongyeon pats my back and I just smiled at them then we drove back home.

It's been a week since my parents' funeral and it's also been a week since I haven't went to school. I just couldn't bring myself to go to school right now after everything that's happened. My uncle didn't force me since he understands what I'm feeling right now. I'm kinda just in my room, staring up at the ceiling. I wonder how the others are doing..

Taehyung's POV

It's already been a week and Y/n still hasn't gone to school. I know he's going through a lot, maybe that's why he didn't tell any of us. Right now we're on our lunch break and I'm at the table with the girls

Nayeon: How do you girls think Y/n is holding up?

Chaeyoung: I bet he's not doing good.. obviously..

Mina: I hope his uncle's helping him right now

Jihyo: Yeah.. me too

Tzuyu: I'm worried about him..

The girls all look down, not gonna lie, I'm worried about him too. But now I have to at least let the girls lighten up a bit

Me: Hey, I promise all of you that Y/n's alright

Dahyun: You think?

Me: I know he is

Jeongyeon: Yeah, Y/n's a tough guy, and he's got us there for him

Momo: Maybe we could all visit him over the weekend so he can be happy again

Sana: Yeah, what are friends for? We'll always be there for an amazing friend

Me: That's the spirit

When Sana said that, I kinda felt bad even more for Y/n. Not only did he lose his parents, he's probably not destined to be with the one he fell for.

Anyways, we all finished our lunch and went to our classes. We went through the day and all went on our ways home

Y/n's POV

I just woke up from a nap and saw that the sun was setting outside, meaning that it's almost night time. I decided to go downstairs since I've spent majority of the week locked in my room. I got down and saw that my uncle wasn't here, but I saw a note on the table and read it

Hey Y/n, I just went out to buy some stuff for us. I'll be back later into the evening, I'll be back probably by dinner but feel free to eat anything you want. Be careful while I'm out for a bit

I sighed and heard the door bell go off. I put the note back down and went to the door, maybe my uncle's back already. I opened the door

Me: Hey uncl-

I was suddenly hugged by someone. I looked down and that someone pulled away

???: Hey Y/n

That's it for now, sorry for this being a bit shorter. sorry again for not updating the story for like 2 weeks now. I promise to update again soon and it will take only within a week. So yeah, who do you guys think is the one who visited Y/n? Hint, she's been shipped with Y/n by one of the other girls. I'll let you all figure it out and comment who you think it is
