Chapter 26 : Christmas Party

(This is so long over due, I'm really sorry everyone😂✌️😅So this is a bit long)

Y/N's POV

It was now December 24, the day me, the guys and girls decide to have our own christmas party at my place. My uncle said he was going out to visit his wife and said he'll be back in the morning. It was still early but I decided to at least clean the house while it's still early. I got up, fixed myself in front of the mirror and went to start cleaning.

-an hour later-

I just finished cleaning everything. I realized that it would get dirty again later but, meh, wouldn't hurt to have it look presentable, right? I tucked away the broom and mop then sat on the couch. I glanced at the christmas tree that we had set up here cause why not and looked at the presents I got for everyone. I wouldn't mind not getting much or anything for Christmas, to be honest.

After a few minutes, the others have arrived. All 9 girls and Taehyung arrived and I was actually surprised Mark isn't here

Taehyung: Sup dude! Merry Christmas!

Me: Merry Christmas too, dude! Merry Christmas, girls!

I gave Taehyung a bro hug and the girls a hug

Momo: We're gonna have an awesome party tonight!

Dahyun: Just don't eat all the food, unnie

We laughed and Momo giggled along

Momo: I'll try

Me: Hey Sana, I thought Mark was gonna be here?

Sana: Oh, he had to fly back home to California early than his original flight. He forgot to tell you and wished us a Merry Christmas and happy new year

Me: Ahh, I see. It's ok, I'll just greet him later too

She nods and the girls proceed to put their gifts, for the exchange gift thingy later, under the tree. Taehyung already placed his gifts under the tree and went beside me

Taehyung: Looks like you accepted things now with Sana and Mark, huh?

Me: Yeah, I can't really do anything about that anymore. Plus, I got to know more about Mark and he's a really great guy

Taehyung: Good to see you're maturing now

Me: Oi!

I hit his shoulder and we laughed. We all then decided to hang out in the living room and play some games. I was seated between Jeongyeon and Sana. I kept winning against them and they would playfully hit me on the shoulder every time I gloat after every win I get.

I noticed the time is passing and decided to go to the kitchen to prepare some food, I grab a pan and placed it on a stove, and decided to cook Kimchi Fried Rice and Pork Bulgogi.

I was already in the middle of cooking, nearly done actually, when I accidentally burned my arm on the frying pan while readying the fried rice

Me: Ah, shit!

Jihyo: Language!

Me: Sorry!

I weakened the flames on the stove and went to wash my arm and hissed a bit. I turned to see Sana approaching me

Sana: Hey, you ok?

Me: Yeah, I'll be fine, it's just a small mark

Sana: Well, that doesn't look like a small mark

I looked at the burn mark a bit more and saw that the pan's outer part was the burn mark

Me: I guess that ISN'T a small mark, huh?
