You Know What You Did

(Chapter contains swearing. Mostly focused on action, next one will be focused on romance.)
[Third Person Pov]
Painite, Spinel, and Ruby stepped on the warp pad.
Spinel: Ya ready Crackle?
Painite: Won't they all be....less than excited, to see me?
Spinel: You'll be fine, plus, you've got a Ruby guard.
Ruby: If anyone tries to hurt you, they'll have to answer to me.
Painite sighed and nodded. The all warped to Earth.

~~~Little Homeworld

The three of them warped onto the Little Homeworld warp pad, and every single eye was on them.
Painite: 😓
Spinel: Hi everyone!
After a few more seconds of staring, someone cut through the crowd.
Peridot: Alright, alright, what's-
Peridot saw Painite and gasped.
Peridot: ...The...male gem.
Painite: I have a name.
Peridot: Bismuth! Lapis! Get over here!
Bismuth and Lapis joined her.
Lapis: What are they doing here?
Ruby: Do not come any closer!
Painite: It's ok Ruby. We're just here to see Steven.
Bismuth: And how do we know you won't try something?
Spinel: Don't worry about that, he's gotten more control over his anger.
Lapis: Well then, I guess you won't mind us coming with you then, just in case.
Painite: Fine.
He got his usual bored expression back.
Lapis: And don't steal my look.
Painite: You don't own looks.
Lapis: I don't like your tone.
Painite: I don't like your fat-
Spinel covered his mouth.
Spinel: Let's go!
Spinel tugged Painite as Ruby and the others followed.
Lapis: Hold on.
Lapis got water from a well and put Painite in a bubble.
Lapis: Can't be too safe,
Painite: (I think I hate her.)

~~~Steven's House

Steven, and The Crystal Gems were talking amongst themselves. They heard a knock at the door.
Steven: I got it.
He went to answer the door.
Steven: Bismuth! Lapis! Peridot! What are you doing here?
Bismuth: Escorting your visitors.
Steven: Escorting?
Spinel stretched her neck over Bismuth.
Spinel: Surprise!
Steven: Spinel?!
Spinel went around Bismuth and gave Steven a hug.
Steven: Hey Spinel!
Pearl: Steven who's-
Pearl and the others saw Spinel.
Amethyst: What are you doing here?
Spinel: We came to visit!
Pearl: We?
Garnet: Why do you have a Ruby guard?
Spinel: She's not mine.
Pearl: Then who's is it?
Bismuth: His.
She pointed up, they all looked up to see Painite in a water bubble with a very anumused look.
Pearl: W-w-what his he doing here?!
Painite: Can I come out now?
Lapis: No.
Spinel: Now before you all freak out, Painite isn't crazy any-...not as crazy as before.
Steven: Well...I guess he is surrounded, let him out Lapis.
The Gems got their weapons out. Lapis let Painite out the bubble. He fell face first.
Painite: Ow! This is gonna be a thing isn't it?
He stood up and saw the gems with their weapons out.
Painite: ...Oh.
Bismuth: Now don't try anything funny.
Painite: I have a spear, a whip, and gauntlets pointed at me, trust me, I won't try anything.
Steven: Come on in everyone.
They all went inside.
Peridot: So...how's life going on Homeworld?
Before Painite could speak, Ruby jumped up.
Ruby: It's great! My Painite saved hundreds of Rubies!
Garnet: How in the world did he do that?
Lapis: Yeah I doubt he's capable of that.
Painite's eye twitched.
Ruby: He is too!
She went on to explain the whole rescue mission, from her fighting in the ring, to Painite saving the Rubies.
Ruby: White Diamond even said he would get his own Pearl!
Pearl: His own Pearl? Really?
Amethyst: And you did all this in less than a day?!
Painite: ...Was it less than a day?
Spinel: I think it was.
Ruby gave Lapis a smug look to which she just rolled her eyes.
Painite: .....Ok I'm bored, what do you do for fun around here?
Steven: There's this thing called baseball.
Painite: .......Base what?

~~~A Baseball Field

Steven had just finished explaining the game to Painite.
Steven: Got all that?
Painite: Sure.
Steven went to the bench.
Amethyst: Yo dude, you ready?
Painite grabbed a bat and went to home base.
Painite: So I just hit it really hard?
Amethyst: Yep. Is that too hard for you?
Painite growled and got in the batting stance.
Spinel: Give your all Crackle!
Amethyst threw the ball and Painite got ready to swing.
Steven: Don't hold back!
Painite did exactly that, and somehow managed to break the ball and bat in half.
Steven: ......Ok maybe hold back a bit.
Bismuth: Woah, this dude is strong.
Peridot: You're supposed to go around now.
Painite: Oh right.
He started walking-
Peridot: Wrong way clod.
Painite turned around.
Painite: I'm not a clod, you're a clod.
Peridot: Do you even know what that means?
Painite made it to first base.
Painite: Of course I do, else I wouldn't use it!
Peridot: No need to get snappy clod!
Painite made it to second base.
Painite: Don't clod me, you uncultured clodding clod!
Peridot: You're the clod to top all clods, clod!
Third.
Painite: You're the clodiest clod I've ever seen clodding around clod! And everything you say certifies your clod status!
Home base.
Peridot: Ha! I think I like him!
Bismuth: You like him for making fun of you?
Peridot: He shares my personality in a way. Like him and Lapis.
Lapis: Don't compare me to it.
Painite: He not it!
Amethyst: Yo Spin, you're up to bat.
The game went on for a while. Spinel enlarging her hand to catch the ball, Bismuth swinging way too hard, Peridot being to small to bat, and Painite putting Ruby on his shoulders so she can catch the ball. Last to bat was Lapis, the bases were loaded, if Lapis hit a homerun here, her team would win.
Peridot: You got this Lapis!
Painite: [calm] And the final bat of the game, Lapis.
Painite quickly threw the ball causing Lapis to miss.
Spinel: Strike one!
Painite: Oh, that must have really hurt Lapis.
Bismuth: Don't let him get in your head!
Garnet: This is very fun to watch.
Pearl: I must say, for his first time playing, Painite is doing a good job.
Painite threw it slowly, messing up Lapis.
Spinel: Strike Two!
Amethyst: Come on Lapis!
Painite: Oh, and another miss. Lapis' team is getting very frustrated. This adds to the pressure. Will she be able to win for her team? Or will she fail? ...Most likely the latter.
Lapis grew visibly frustrated, causing Painite to smirk.
Painite: It looks like I made her mad, maybe this'll help her?
Painite threw the ball and this time Lapis hit it...and Painite grabbed out if mid-air.
Painite: ......Like I said, the latter.
Lapis scowled at Painite.
Steven: And that's game!
Bismuth: Not bad pal.
Amethyst: Yeah, next time, you're on my team.
Painite walked up to Lapis and held his hand out.
Painite: Nice job Lapis.
Lapis bumped into Painite and walked away. Painite shook his own hand.
Painite: [Mimicking Lapis] Thanks for the show of sportsmanship or whatever Steven said. [Normal] What's her deal?
Garnet: She's just like that.
Pearl: I'm sure she'll warm up to you.
Spinel gave Painite a kiss on the cheek.
Spinel: Great job!
Ruby: My Painite, that was an amazing performance!
Spinel: You're a natural at this.
Lapis: Beginner's luck.
Painite: *cough* Sore loser *cough*.
Lapis got more annoyed.
Lapis: If you want, I can show you just as much of a "loser" I am.
Painite: ...Did she just threaten me?
Bismuth: Ok, calm down Lapis, it's just a game.
Painite: I don't fighting is a good idea anyway.
Peridot: It's a great idea! I've always wanted to see a Painite battle, let alone a male gem! You and Lapis battling would allow me to research your fighting style.
Ruby: Yeah! I wanna see My Painite fight more! Please?!
She gave Painite a puppy dog eye.
Painite: ...Well, if Lapis-
Lapis: I would love too.
Spinel: Painite, we should be leaving.
Painite: We've got time.
