You disappeared but the world keeps turning
I turn my back to the world you've left
It snows in my brain but my heart is burning
It is a crime to commit heart theft
Morning dawns but the sun's not shining
It ceased to move in the sky above
Wrote a song but it refused it's rhyming
Where to turn when there is no love?
Walking down our road at night
Sitting down on the cold, hard stones
I watch the stars forever shine bright
Unaware of the shiver in my bones.
Soon we die each of us alone
In a calm, cold winter night
We would be safe had we only known
But who's to know why black turns white?
I'm gonna go ahead to say goodbye to this time round.
I'm gonna go ahead and go away.
She's gonna stay behind to keep the picture in her mind
She's gonna stay behind and stay away.
