When Sabrina got home the house was empty. She found a note on the kitchen counter from her mother.

In Dubai, be back in 3 weeks. There's an extra thousand dollars in the freezer.

"Why would she put... oh she's good." Sabrina said when she noticed her favorite ice cream. Vanilla cone with the chocolate at the bottom and money sticking out the bottom of the ice cream box.

She decided to call Sam.

"Hello." Sam answered.

She heard a whistle and helmets being clicked together in the background and knew where he was.

"You at the field already and didn't come to get me."

"Bri you take forever to get ready and I didn't think you were in the mood.

"What you doin there anyway?"

"Lance wanted me to come watch him practice. But the offer came with a side piece so I agreed." Sam said referring to Jason as the side piece.

"You are such a thot." Sabrina laughed.

"Mentally! Not physically. I have one boyfriend."

"I rather you date Jason, honestly."

"Why?" Sam asked. He knew why realistically but he wanted to know Sabrina's reason why.

"He's not afraid to be seen with you, he's not maliciously hanging around you, and he seems to like you."

"Aww you gon make me deny my gaydar." Sam joked. He took "gay" and "radar" and meshed the words. "Gaydar" meant he could detect when someone else was gay.

"What does your gaydar tell you." Sabrina asked.

"He don't like penis. He's just a friendly person."

"Oh!"

"You thought he was gay?" Sam said bursting into laughter.

"A lil. His eyebrows are perfectly arched."

"Oh na thats natural. I know arched when I see it."

"How you know?" Sabrina asked.

"Bitch I arch brows let's not forget yours too and I pay attention,  he is my crush."

"True." Sabrina shrugged.

"Not tryna be cupid but he do be lookin at you." Sam said.

"More like a glance then looks away."

"Oh so you've noticed too." Sam teased.

"A lil, but I'm not looking to like anyone right now."

"He's a you."

"Meaning."

"He's a Cancer. He's shy but he'll come to you, but when you least expect.

"No I'm good I never dated my own sign before and I like Leo's."

Sam said nothing knowing she was talking about Ricky, she had half the school year and summer to mourn. He just wanted Sabrina to move on but he understood grief takes a while so he just decided to be a good supportive friend.

Sam was a Sagittarius and very attractive. Pink hair, tall, slim, blue contacts, nose ring, all his clothes were from Guess. If it isn't from guess he wasn't wearing it. Except his shoes he's more of a vans, converse, type of guy. He's been friends with Sabrina since 8th grade. They just clicked. Okay, he gave her his ice cream cone on ice cream day, and they've been tight ever since. And VERY over-protective of each other.

"Alright bitch I'm comin to get you. Give me five minutes." Sam said grabbing his keys and leaving the bleachers.

"BEEP BEEP!" Sams car horn sounded once he got to Sabrinas house. "HURRY UP BITCH!" He yelled out the car window.

"I'M COMIN HOE!" She yelled from her room window.

"Bout time." Sam said once Sabrina came down and got into the car.

"Shutup. You just going to look at the good lookin football players."

"I like when they score goals too."

"It's touchdowns." Sabrina laughed.

"Yea that too." Sam said then pulled off.

"Detritus High scores again by number seven quarterback Jason Savage." The guy on the intercom said as everybody in crowd went wild including Sam.

"You better stop before Lance sees you." Sabrina warned.

"I'm cheering for the team." Sam joked.

"I can't stand you." Sabrina laughed.

"I know I love you too."

Once the game was over everybody began to leave except the players of course. They always stayed five minutes after for a end game pep talk with coach Rogers.

"Good game... good game. Proud of all y'all..." Coach Rogers said as the conversation faded away once Sabrina heard someone say

"YO THATS LANCE UNDER THE BLEACHERS KISSING THE FAGGOT!"

Sabrina turned to see what Todd and Shawn had seen and knew it was not gonna be good Monday.
