I don't think this could be a headcanon as it's almost full on canon but this man is loyal as hell to his friends and to possible love interests .
And there's a lot of proof. NO MATTER WHAT APHMAU DOES HE STAYS BY HER SIDE IN MCD yeah he might get less loyal near the end of season 2 but it's the "callings" blame
he's also always there for his friends.
Like when Lucinda was being bothered by Ivan he came over and stood up for her. And there's so much proof it'll be hard to go back and look through it all.
And I remember even though he liked Aphmau as well he always wanted Garroth to tell her his feelings rather than being shy.
So that's why I headcanon him as a loyal and good friend/ possible lover.
