10. Promise, EXO 2014

After the Beijing concert, Luhan left. All the boys were really depressed, and I guess, the fans were feeling terribly down as well. Now, the risk of disbandment was immenent. I went back to Korea, to Kasper's studio, and heard many people talking about the situation of the band, saying that they were SM's biggest failure, that they would disband soon. When I heard those words, I couldn't help but remember about Lay, if they disbanded, his dreams would shatter.

When the boys were back in Korea, Lay texted me and asked to meet. We met at SM's building, but he wasn't in the mood for a class, he just wanted to talk.

-I wrote something...- He said quietly. His voice was still showing the sadness. -Maybe, it can be our last song, our farewell song-

-What are you talking about? Don't say that, you're not disbanding, Lay- I said, trying to believe my words, so he could believe them too. He shook his head.

-We most likely are. How can a group survive two members leaving?- He asked with a broken voice, about to cry. I sighed.

-C'mon, let me see what you wrote- I asked him, trying to cheer him up.

-No, I want to say it. You tell me if you like it- He cleared his throat and recited it while looking at me in the eye.
