In Chinese， (shui guo) 水果 means fruit. Regardless of any type of fruit but if you are just saying fruit then use 水果.
What types of fruit are there?
Here are some words I listed that are used commonly.
Grape 🍇 : 葡萄 (Pútáo)
Apple 🍎 : 苹果 (Píngguǒ)
Banana 🍌 : 香蕉 (Xiāngjiāo)
Mango 🥭 : 芒果 (Mángguǒ)
Pear 🍐 : 梨 (Lí)
Orange 🍊 : 橘子 (Júzi)
Watermelon 🍉 : 西瓜 (Xīguā)
Melon 🍈 : 瓜 (Guā)
Lemon 🍋 : 柠檬 (Níngméng)
If you want to say "I ate a mango", it's like this:
Wǒ chīle mángguǒ
我吃了芒果。
