In mandarin, a letter is 信 (Xìn) and in this chapter I will tell you the format of writing a letter. This will be useful in compositions.
To start off, write 亲爱的 (name of person), 亲爱的 means dear. And end off with 祝,身体健康, and your name and date.
For example:
The content of your letter could be anything as long as it doesn't contain something that insults and lowers the other person's self esteem.
好久不见:long time no see
Pinyin: Hǎojiǔ bùjiàn祝:to wish (wish happy birthday, etc.)
Pinyin: Zhù身体健康:healthy body
Pinyin: Shēntǐ jiànkāngOther wishes you can include:
一切都好 (Yīqiè dōuhǎo)
