Chapter 16

* 1 week later*

Alejandros dad got out of jail today. It's 3:00 pm and Alejandro has been super paranoid. Luz was with her tia again today because Alejandro didn't want Luz to see his dad and he was crazy so he didn't want to put her in danger. He had his gun with him at all times today.

We've barely talked today. I didn't want to bother him.

"Babe!" Alejandro called from downstairs. I ran down the stairs with my gun in hand.

"What?" I asked out of breath.

"Chill. I just want you here with me" he said. I sighed and sat next to him.

"Have u heard anything?" I asked him. He looked at me breathing out

"Yeah, my aunt from his side called. She said he was planning on coming here" he said

"Oh shit" I said looking out the window and seeing a tall man with tattoos all over walking towards the house

"What?" He said looking at the window.
"Fuck. Go upstairs and don't come down. "

"No I'm staying here. You know I can hold my own Alejandro" I said to him. He didn't say anything knowing I wouldn't listen.

The man went up the steps and knocked. Alejandro opened the door.

"Hello son. I'm back" his dad said to him smiling

"What the fuck do you want?" Alejandro said to him. His dad pushed by him and walked in and looked at me. "So you're following in my steps? Pimpin bitches out?" His dad laughed.

"I'm his girlfriend. I ain't no prostitute" I snapped at him.

"Shit my bad mamacita, you lookin real good" his dad said getting closer to me.

Alejandro came between us and said "get closer and I'll kill u"

"Like you killed my brother? You're lucky I don't fucking kill you." His dad said

"I came to pick up my daughter " his dad continued looking around and sitting on the couch.

"She isn't here" Jandro said to him
"Then I'll wait here"

"My mom and her moved to New York" alejandro said to him.

"Really? Why would they do that"

"To get away from you"

"Your mom visited me when I was in jail saying she was moving to Mexico" his dad said. Wtf? I thought she didn't talk to him. Alejandro stayed quite. "She said to pick up Luz and for me to go over there." His dad continued

"You're not taking Luz" Alejandro said

"Oh but I am mijo. You lost. Face it. Your mom needs me. She left you here. She doesn't care about you. You killed my brother for nothing. You sent me to jail for nothing. I should kill you right now but I won't as long as you hand Luz over" his dad said to him leaning forward

"You're not taking her so do what you want" Alejandro said. His dad pulled out a gun and pointed it to Alejandro.
"Where is she?"

"You won't shoot me. You need me to tell you where she is" Alejandro said calmly. I pulled out my gun and pointed it at his dad. His dad laughed looking at me "you won't pull the trigger you're a soft bitch"

I moved the gun shooting it to the window.
"Try me" I smiled
His dad put his gun down. "I'll come back at 8:00 and my daughter better be here with her bags ready" he said walking out.

"That piece of shit" Alejandro said

"What if we call the police ? Didn't he loose custody of Luz?" I asked
