Chapter 3

When I woke up I was leaning on something hard yet soft. When I opened my eyes, I saw Kite stareing at me. I looked at him confused until I realize that I was leaning on him. I quickly stood up and bowed to him.

" I-I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Kite-san!!! " I said while bowing to him. He chuckled and patted my head.

" It's okay Silvia, you were tired " he said while smiling at me. I looked at him for a while until i quickly rememberd what father had told me 'I need Kite to teach me how to fight and use nen... but I think that would be hard considering I look like a 5 year old girl...' I thought as I stared at him 'maybe I should try'

" K-Kite-san? " I asked.

" Yes? " he asked, I gulped 'maybe this isn't the right time...'

" N-nothing... " I said.

" Are you sure? " he asked. Just as I was about to answer, an arrow was suddenly shot at me.

"Look out, Silvia!!! " Kite said as he pushed me out of the way, I screamed as my small body hit the hard ground.

" Are you okay Silvia? " Kite asked with concern in his voice, I nodded a little. He suddenly picked me up and hugged me protectivly before looking at where the arrow came from.

" Who ever is there, show yourself up!! " Kite said.suddenly a man with a big body showed up and smirked at us.

" Hello " he said.

" What do you want? " asked Kite with a tint of anger.

" That girl " the man said while pointing at me, my eyes widen 'what does he want from me?' I though, kite looked at me before looking at the man again.

" What do you want with her? " he asked.

"Kekeke... why are you asking that? are you going to protect her? " he asked while smirking. Kite's grip tighten around me. The man started laughing.

" Hahaha!!! your trying to protect someone you don't even know?! How ironic!! " he said. Kite looked at him confused.

" What do you mean? " he asked

"Kekeke... if you want to know, she is a very special girl... a traveler from the Boundary " he said. Both Kite's and my eyes widen 'how did he know?!' I thought.

" So now that you know, hand her over to me " he said. It was quite until Kite answered.

" No " he said. Both the man's and my eyes widen.

" W-what?! " he asked.

" I said no " Kite repeated.

" B-but?! she is from the boundary!!! " he said.

" So what? " Kite asked. The man was shocked. He gritted his teeth before running away. I stared at Kite as he stared back at me

" Silvia... is that true? " he asked. I nodded slowly, he sigh.

" Well... that doesn't really change anything does it? " he said, my eyes widen

" You... your still letting me stay with you? " I asked, he chuckled.

" Why not? " he said. I smiled happily before hugging him real tight.

" T-thank you Kite-san " I said, he hugged me back.

" Sure " he said. It was silent until I asked him something.

" Kite-san? "

" Yes? "

" Can... can you teach me about nen? " I asked. He looked shocked.
