Silence

There's neither truth nor lies in silence.

Lamenting my sins
And costly mistakes.
My words returning from whence they came.
Biting my lips, to keep my fears cloaked
For in silence, I am whoever they think.
Deemed wise, deemed fearless.
Without words I can be anything, mostly not myself.
And whensoever I am truly perceived,
I'll simply stay quiet and walk away.
'Cos there's neither truth nor lies in silence.
