Distress

Flirting with the idea of being true
On the horizons of disarray.
If honesty was ubiquitous too
We wouldn't be so astray.

A motivational prelude to the deafening,
As dawn looms the shadows.
In a world where honesty is failing,
It's tough to trust what follows.

Demeaning the contours in our false truths
Concealing with epidural discomfort of our convictions.
Maybe one day we will be fed our fruits
The bitter rotten taste of distress in distinctions.

Been a while, went on a short break

It's tough to trust anyone in the current world we live in, hopefully it gets easier
