I smiled softly at the large campus. I had a map of it in one hand, and I held the strap of my duffel bag in another. I had sent my stuff ahead to my dorm, and now I couldn't wait to unpack it. I avoided the eyes of the wolves that watched me as I made my way through campus, following the map. When I got to my dorm room I knew from the scent that I wasn't going to be alone, which was fine with me. I went to put my key into the lock, but the door opened before it could enter. A girl with long auburn hair was on the other side. She had round honey colored eyes and a bright smile on her face. "Hi you must be Tempest, I'm Ruby, your roommate," She said before stepping back to let me in. I smiled, "It's nice to meet you Ruby." I could tell she was a wolf by her scent, but I wasn't going to let that scare me. I knew it was a huge possibility. "I hope you don't mind, but I chose the room to the right, leaving you the room to the left," She told me. "I don't mind at all," I told her before going into my room. My boxes were completely still sealed up thankfully. I was partially worried someone would snoop through my things.

I sat my bag on the bed and gathered my hair into a messy bun. "When my brothers told me they gave a rogue permission to attend the university, you weren't what I pictured," She said while leaning in the doorway of my room. "How did you picture me," I asked her curiously. "Some hard buff chick," She told me. "Oh," I told her, finding it a little funny. I then realized she said her brothers. "Alpha Cassius and Alpha Maddox are your brothers," I asked her. She smiled, "Yep. They set it up so I would be your roommate to keep an eye on you." I nodded in understanding. I was a rogue in their territory, of course they would be cautious. I then gave her a smile, "Well, I hope I'm not a bother." She nodded then went to her room.

I began unpacking my room. A little later my mother called me. "Did you get to the school okay," She asked me, worry thick in her voice. "I found it just fine mom," I assured her. "Have you met your roommate yet," She asked me. "Yes. Her name is Ruby and she's the Alphas's sister. They made her my roommate to keep an eye on me," I replied while cutting open one of my boxes, happy to find my fairy lights. "Something told me that would happen," My mother sighed. "Just be careful not to piss them off honey." I rolled my eyes, "Mom, I didn't inherit dad's temper remember?" "Thank the goddess for that," She said and I couldn't help but laugh.

I then smelled something delicious behind me, making my mouth water, I turned and saw two men who were intimidating and sexy at the same time. My wolf was jumping around in my head hollowing in joy. "Hey mom, I need to let you go so I can unpack," I told her. "I promise to call you tomorrow." "Okay honey, I love you," She said. "I love you too mom," I said before hanging up. "Um, hi," I said softly. "Well hello mate," one said with a cocky smirk. "What else do I have to fucking share with you," the one with dirty blonde hair snapped at the one with light brown hair. The one with brown hair rolled his honey colored eyes, "Don't get all pissy now. Our parents warned us this was a possibility since a pack can't have more than one Luna."

Oh goddess, why me? The one with dirty blonde hair moved his moss green eyes to look at me, "I'm sorry the goddess mated you with this idiot." "And I'm sorry she mated you with this stick in the mud," The other said. I was too shocked to say anything. "Great, another thing for you two to fight over," I could hear Ruby say. I was mated to both of the Alphas from the Toxic Earth pack. Goddess why me? "Who are you calling a stick in the mud," The first snapped. "I'm looking at you aren't I," The second asked.

Ruby pushed her way past them, "Talk about a first impression. I'm sorry the goddess mated you to both of these dumbasses." "We're not dumbasses," They snapped in unison. "The blonde dumbass is Maddox and the other idiot is Cassius," Ruby said while ignoring them. "I'm Tempest," I told them, still unsure on how I should act right now. "Now, then you both are scaring her, so I think it's best if you both go home to finish your argument," Ruby told them. They growled at her and she rolled her eyes. She looked at me with a shrug, "Can't say I didn't try, you're on your own." She then left the room, leaving me with both of them.

"Do your parents live nearby," Maddox asked me. I nodded, "They live two hours away in Briston." Maddox nodded, before grabbing Cassius by the back of his shirt and pulled him out despite his protests. What just happened? One minute they're here, the next they're gone.

Ruby was then back in my room, "Originally they were here to give you a map of the areas you've been given permission to run, but I guess that's null and void now." "That was so bizarre," I confessed to her. She laughed, "You're gonna have to get used to it. Their favorite thing to do is argue. The only time they're ever on the same page is when they're taking care of pack business, and being over protective of me." How was I going to balance two mates? I can barely balance school and work, and school hasn't even started yet. "So why did he want to know where my parents lived," I asked her, still in shock. "To go get your parents's blessing to court you," She told me. "I know many don't follow traditions, but those two do." "Goddess, this is going to be rough," I muttered. She laughed, "I pray you have patience honey, you're going to need it."

Cassius's POV

"You didn't have to grab me by the fucking shirt," I grumbled in the passenger seat of the car. "Look up their address," He told me gruffly. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone. So demanding, I thought before pulling up their information. I punched it into the GPS, before calling our Beta Constantine. "Yes Alpha Cassius," he said when he answered and I put it on speaker. "I need you to cancel my meetings today and push them to tomorrow," I told him. "The same for me as well," Maddox told him. "When they ask why, what should I tell them," He asked us. "That something of great importance came up and we will explain later," I told him.  "Will do," He said and then I hung up.

"So how the fuck are we going to court her," I asked him. "We will have to find a balance," I told him. "Like we did with being Alphas. We just have to make sure she accepts us both." Because if she rejects one, then it's an automatic rejection for the other. Just like if I were to reject her, it would be an automatic rejection for Maddox too because she is to be the Luna of our pack.

For the rest of the drive we talked about the best way to go about it. When we pulled up at a small white house with a wire fence on the edge of the property, we got out. Maddox knocked on the door and we waited patiently. A woman with graying blonde hair and the same bright silver eyes our mate has opened the door. "Mrs. Archer," Maddox asked politely. She nodded, "Yes. How may I help you?" She seemed nervous and we instantly knew why. "I'm Alpha Maddox and this is Alpha Cassius. May we come in," He asked her. "Is Tempest okay," She asked immediately. I nodded, "She's fine. We just saw her actually." She nodded then stepped back to let us in.

The house was filled with photos. Mostly of Tempest as she grew up, but there were plenty of parents too. "Let me go get Vic," She said before disappearing through a door that lead to the basement. A minute later a man with salt and pepper hair, broad muscles covered in tattoos, and a scar over his left eye that was from a wound that permanently shut his eye, came up. "How may I help you sirs," He asked us. "We came to ask for your blessings to court your daughter," Maddox and I said in unison. Both appeared to be shocked. They shared a look before looking back at us.

"I know our Tempest is a special woman, but I never thought she would be mated to two Alphas," Her mother said with a small smile. Her father nodded and gave us a serious look, "I hunt and kill vampires for a living. Hurt my little girl, and I will go through your entire pack to get to you boys if I have to." "I think our fathers will gladly throw us to you with a bow on our heads," I told him honestly. Our whole lives our fathers drilled us on how to treat a woman, and what would happen if we ever hurt one so they truly will give us to this man if we hurt his daughter. Her mother smiled, "I'm Laural by the way, and this is my mate Vic. I wish you both the best of luck." Her father shook our hands before we left, looking at us threateningly before we left. Maddox nodded, "I'm really glad we didn't wait to get that out of the way." I nodded, "He has to be the scariest man I have ever met that I actually don't want to piss off." Maddox nodded in agreement before he began the drive home.
