I had woken up from a nightmare again tonight, this time, not waking up either of the guys. They're so tired from everything that's going on, I'm not all that surprised to be honest. Unable to go back to sleep, I went to their office and pulled Cassius' chair up to look at the map that was on the wall. We had been tracking the attacks as best as possible. As I stared at the map I began to see something. I grabbed the marker from Maddox's desk and began to connect the packs in order of attacks. My heart sank as I stepped back to look at it. I then went to the map of the other half of the world that's been experiencing the attacks and began to connect them.

I was going to the sick. "Tempest?" Maddox asked as he came in, his hair a mess from sleep. Cassius was behind him. "I couldn't sleep and was looking at the maps," I told them as their eyes widened. "The goal wasn't to kill werewolves, it was spill the blood needed, and our warriors were sacrifices," Cassius said as he looked at the two maps. Each pack had two warriors that were killed like ours had been.

On the maps were two large pentagrams. The werewolf castle in the center of one map and the werewolf embassy in the center of the other. Maddox took pictures of the maps and sent them to the king before calling the King. "Sir, it's a coven of black magic witches," Maddox told him. "It's how they're able to attack in so many different places, it's because a whole coven is pulling the strings of this operation." Maddox was silent as he listened to the King. "We will work on that immediately sir." He then hung up.

"He is getting in contact with the Queen of witches to see who could pull this off and we are to tell the other Alphas what we found. The King thinks we have until the new moon to prepare for the worst." "What the fuck are we going to do," Cassius growled as he ran his hands through his hair. "We're fucking powerless against black magic." "He is going to request the witches step in to help," Maddox told him. "What could be the goal though," Cassius asked. "To turn us into humans," I told him. "Witches and werewolves have always fought for the Goddess' attention, wanting to be deemed her favorite. If we're out of the picture, then they'll be the only ones to get her attention. I think the Turning Tides pack and the town was taken out because the warriors weren't enough of a sacrifice for a spell of such size. If they just straight up killed us, the Goddess will punish them, because she'll see us enter the spirit world, but she may not see us get turned into humans. They're trying to do it to minimize their punishment." "And they used the vampires to throw us off," Maddox realized and I nodded.

"Damn it," Cassius growled, his fists clenching and unclenching. They then began to spread the word to the other Alphas. I went back to looking at the map, trying to see if I could find the point of origin. It'll be the point of origin where they put the spell into place. I began to write the dates of each attack on the map, trying to find out where it's gonna be. We only had three days until the new moon. We needed to stop the spell from taking place. If we could just time it out right, then we can prevent it from happening ever again, but we had a short time frame.

I circled the pack on each map where it all started and relayed the information to Cassius and Maddox. It was the a flurry of emails, calls, and preparation. Every pack was going to send their warriors to the two packs to hunt down the witches.

My phone began to ring and I saw it was the King on the screen. I answered it, "Yes sir." "I tried to get a hold of your mates, but I take it they're busy," he said to me. "Yes they are." "I was informed by Luna Linia that you figured out which packs the spell would be conducted in. The Queen of witches is sending out every white witch she can to help prevent the spell from taking place. Tempest, you must listen to me. The Queen has informed me, it is not to make us humans, but to turn us into wolves. As humans we would be able to get the spell reversed, but as wolves, we would give into our animal instincts, and forget we were ever once human. We need to stop the spell from happening at all costs. I'm sending anyone who can fight out to the field. The Queen believes its the Black Curse coven. They have a hundred witches, meaning fifty will be at each sight."

This was real bad. I hung up with the king and told the guys. I then joined in the mess of the pack to get us all ready. I dressed and began packing mine, Maddox's, and Cassius' things for the trip. It would take us a day to even get there. We may be cutting it just a little too close. The entire time, I had a really bad feeling about what was going to happen once we got there. I had faith we were going to stop it, but something told me, it wasn't going to be in  the way we wanted it to happen.

When Maddox and Cassius came in, neither of them said anything  as they quickly got dressed. I was in the bathroom, gathering my hair into a ponytail, when I heard a gasp, followed by a moan. I went out and saw Cassius holding Maddox, his canines buried deep into his neck, marking him. "If something happens to either of you, I don't want to know what it's like to live without you," he whispered once he released Maddox. Maddox then bit Cassius and Cassius moaned softly. When Maddox released him, "I feel the same." They then turned their attention to me and I didn't hesitate as I stepped forward. "I love you both so much," I confessed to them. They tucked their faces on either side of my neck before biting into me.

My wolf howled in pleasure and happiness, finally being connected to them. "We love you too," They said in unison when they released me. I then marked them. If we live through this, then we'll pick up where we left off. I prayed the Goddess helped us in any way she could.
