When Shadow turns he's head with upper body around he saws Rouges red clowning eyes above he by coming fast attack, Shadow saw it and moves aside while Rouge hits the diner table.
-I see you're not Rouge...
Rouge turned only he's head back side while he's hands where stuck at the tables wooden parts.

Shadow tries to get contact to Rouge from phone -Hello! are you there?!
Without answers...

While battling with the Red eye Rouge.
Walls and every where was smashed as was the the tv
-No! not tv! I just bought it!
Shadow says and uses
-Chaos spear! For couple times but Rouge was fast... but then it did hit Rouges eye and she falls down.

But when Shadow gets close, it stood up so fast and smashed wrist to Shadows jaw, broke the window and flyes away... hardly...

-Wait! Come back you bi*h!
Shadow yells from the window.
-Crap! That was robot! Why I didn't see that coming....
From Shadows jaw comes blood and he goes to washroom to found something to cover it up.

*Damn I shouldn't let my guard down... and now I have to buy new window! In middle winter! .... and tv Crap!* Shadow thoughts and after sealing the scar at jaw he search big plastic bag and some tape to cover the broken window...
*I hope I have insurance for tv...*

Next Day did come

-HUOOOOAAHHHH~ Shadow yawns while laying down at he's bed under the sheets in warm.
-ugghhh.... I should go to check things out... 3 hours sleep wasn't enough but what I can do... I have to check this.

Shadow was wearing winter clothes and was going but he noticed some letter at he's floor.
-That can wait.
And Shadow left.

At Rouge's apartment

-Hmmm she's not here... Shadow tries to knock but nobody answers.
-She doesn't answer to the phone either...
Shadow noticed there's a window as little open, Shadow opens it more and see it goes to Bathroom. He climbs in.

Inside there was no one, and nothing as been broken. Shadow closed the window and was going to the front door... at closing the door he noticed that at Rouges floor had also a letter.
-not my business....
When he was turning away he watched back to The letter...
-it's exactly same looking as mine...
Shadow goes back and takes letter to he's hand and turning it around there reads
"To Miss.Rouge from Sonic"
Shadow lifts he's left eye brown and noticed that it wasn't sealed.
-She won't mind if I peek just a little.
Shadow says whit smile and opens it.

There was a letter, made from red paper and decorated pretty.
"Dear Miss Rouge
You are invited to Christmas party at to the Green hills greatest Hotel..."
-ouh "great"
Shadow closed the letter and but it back where he took it and leaves.
Then Shadow teleported he's to Sonic's house...

-Pim poom 🎶
Comes sound from door ring and Amy opens the door.

-Sha-SHADOW! Amy says as surprised.
-Have you or Sonic seen Rouge?
-Yes! She's here.
-I have to talk with she.

Shadow says and steps in to the house.
-Hey! Even you're ultimate life form but you cannot act as ultimate king~!
-Oh! Hi Shadow! What brings you here? Sonic asked.

-So faker is here and safe.
Shadow cross he's arms and smiles.
-Why What? Wait, have something happened to you too? Sonic asks and Shadow told they what happened yesterday night.

-I smell Eggman here. Amy says and dumps he's foot down,
-I hate he so much! She continued.

-So what happened here? Shadow asked from Sonic while watching he's eyes straight.

-well, Rouge is now upstairs for resting, we found her at laying down having some blood at she's wings.
yesterday late night, she called very odd time that she was near to my house and needed help. When I saw she I called Amy to help me. And now you're here...

-someone did attach to Rouge after he called to me, warned me to run and she was that time near to your house...
Shadow was thinking at loud and Sonic answers
-I dunno but I'm sure it will come out in some point, right.
-I highly think it was again something Eggman's doings.
Shadow says with angry tune.

-I told you it was Eggman! Amy says and start to wear winter clothes on.
-I will go home now, tell me when Rouge gets up, I can come to help she.

-All right see ya later. Sonic says and
-Thanks for helping me out hehe.

-of course everything for Sonic ♡
Amy says and leaves.

-Aaaggghhh I cannot stand she...
Shadow says it annoyed and Sonic answers
-Well she is annoying but I really didn't know what to do when I saw Rouge...

-Why didn't you call me?
-.... well I thought about it but you once told me that to not disturb you at late evenings, you're super tired and Amy is living at next road... and-
Shadow sighs and goes to sit to the sofa. Sonic's mouth was left open he's sentence was cut of.

-Fine... do you mind if I stay here for waiting Rouge to wake up?
-No problem. Sonic answers and goes another side of the sofa and there was silence between them.

-soo~.... Sonic says
-Soooo? Shadow answers and crosses he's hands.
-Soooo what are you doing these-
-Saving you butt from the shadows.
-aaa right....

Silence~~~ and awkward moment...

-Sonic...
Shadow asked and closing he's eyes.
-Do you like Amy?
-What?! No! Sonic answers and waving he's hands at air making "x" sign.
-But I see you together most of the time...

-yeah~ it's because she's stuck with me even I said that I don't want and I'm not in to she but (sighs) she doesn't listen....

Sonic stood up and goes to take some chaos cola.
-You wanna some?
-... I would yes

-There!
Sonic throws it to Shadow and he catches it with smile.
