The Sun Sets as Another Rises (a Changed story)

Chapter 4. Allies

Cold, dead silence.

Lin and Puro were walking through the woods, wondering when they will get out of there.

However, they were both silent.

They were still shaken up from there last encounter.

"What did I just witness? Why do I feel so scared?" Puro thought.

Lin however, was the most shaken up about it.

"Am I insane? Why did that? Why was that my first choice?" Lin thought while looking at his hand, still stained with blood from the guard.

The silence was broken when they heard something come from the woods in front of them.

"What was that?" Puro asked.

Lin didn't answer. He had already armed himself with the knife he had used on his first kill.

Then, out came a man, armed with a sword.

When he saw the two wolves, he positioned himself into a fighting stance.

"Go away! Just go a-away!" Lin yelled shakenly.

The man studied Lin and Puro's faces, noting that there eyes showed that they didn't want to hurt him.

"Your not with them are you?" The man asked.

"With who?"

"Yeah, definitely not with them."

He then studied there faces some more, then his eyes glistened with suprised.

"Wait, are you guys Puro and Lin?!?" he asked in a shocked way.

"How do you know our names?" Puro asked with a confused look.

"Yes I knew it! I finally found you guys!"

"Why were you looking for us?" Lin asked angrily, now irritated that he isn't answering there questions.

"The Plague Doctor wanted me to find you."

"Plague Doctor?" Lin asked.

He had heard that name before, but didn't know from where.

Then he remembered the guards conversation.

"Yeah. We basically owe him our lives because if it weren't for him, we'd be dead."

"We?"

"Yeah, there are others. Come with me."

Lin backed off, nervous of what would happen if he followed him.

"Don't worry, I'm not an enemy. I'm here to help you."

"Ok, if you say so."

Lin and Puro followed the man through the forest.

"So, what's your stories?"

"Huh?"

"How you became transfurred."

"Oh."

"I was born a transfurred but got smarter by reading." Puro said.

"Cool! You?"

"Woke up in a tower and had to survive. Figured out that basically everyone was dead and that I would risk my life if I went out how I was then. If it weren't for Puro and Dr.K, I probably wouldn't be here.

"Dr.K?"

"He's Another transfurred that transfurred me to help me live on the outside."

"Oh, ok."

For awhile, they just walked in silence, not knowing what to talk about.

Then Puro broke the silence.

"Sooooo, how are the people your with like?" Puro asked.

"Some are soft, some are intense."

Then the three came up to a village, full of humans and transfurred.

Lin and Puro looked at the village in shock, seeing other transfurred that were unhostile and intelligent.

"Holy shit." Lin said.

"Come on, I have two people I want you to meet."
