after four hours of educational torture and boredom, i finally could walk to the cafeteria. Some teachers tried to push me to participate but i just sat there like a mummy, i had no idea what were the answers and most of the time i just daydream about anything but school.
i sat down alone.like usual, but as i was reaching for my hello kitty pastel pink lunchbox a cheerful voice cut me down " hey lily!" Alice greeted me while her family walked to their usual table
" hey Alice!" i beamed back at her
" come sit with us!" she offered, i took a look at their table, getting anxious just by how perfect they look, now with an addition of a lanky, bronze haired guy that looks just as beautiful as the rest of the family.
" I..uhh.. i don't want to bother them" i mumbled seeing the scowl Rosalie was giving Alice
Alice rolled her eyes " okey .. can i join you then?" i grinned nodding vigorously
with that she danced her way to their table to bring her lunchbox, Rosalie leaned closer to Alice and spoke so fast that her pink lips looks like a blur. Emmett's hand found her waste while he whispered something in her ear.. which helped her calm down apparently.
the sting of insecurity kicked inside my chest, it was bad enough to feel like everyone hates you somehow, but .. the thought of Rosalie and Emmett hating me or disliking me to the point that they don't want their sibling to sit with me, felt worst than anything else. i don't even know why! they never spoke to me till this morning and i already threw myself to hell by my rudeness
" hey, you okey?" Alice's voice snapped me out of my thoughts . i nodded smiling while trying to hold my tears.
" i'm so excited for tomorrow! " trying to change the subject which it worked because my first friend is now grinning at me with excitement
" it's going to be so fun!" she said with certainty. i nodded
" literally, i've made my research and planned for what stores to visit.. usually, i shop online because my style is found in south Korean and Japanese fashion and stores" i rambled
she nodded " i'm sure you'll find awesome outfits, also going shopping in actual stores is such a great therapy " i nodded agreeing while munching on some small carrots from my lunchbox,Alice didn't touch hers at all, but i didn't point it out.
" i totally need a winter wardrobe.. i did not expected to be this cold..always!" i complained she nodded agreeing " gosh, it's hard to keep a decent fashion when it's always wet and gloomy" i nodded totally getting the struggle
" but you seem to do a great job at it" she beamed at my compliment
" thank you! finally someone appreciating my fashion sense!" we both giggled which made everyone turn to look at us in bewilderment. i didn't care though, i was actually having fun and bonding with my first friend..ever.

i step out of the school building, relieved that school was over and i can go home to do a very long skin care and get cosy.
my bike was still in the back of Emmett's jeep which i totally forgot . i also dismissed the promise that i gave to Rosalie simply because it was like a dream to me and i doubted that it even happened.
i spot the Cullen family looking at me;Emmett smiled at me as if he was waiting for me however,Rosalie didn't spare me a look . i nodded motioning to him to give me a minute and i skipped happily to a certain orange truck
" hey bella!" i chirped way too excited then my usual self. she turned away from opening the driver door and got closer to me.
" oh hi lily?" she said awkwardly.
" Alice and i are going shopping in Seattle tomorrow...if you want..you can join us...i-i'd like to be friends with you..and Alice is okey with that" i said bluntly not knowing how to ask someone to be her friend without sounding like a total weirdo
she smiled with a hint of a frown " i-i'd love to go but umm shopping,fashion...is not really my thing...you'd find me really boring... but other than that..we can hang out if you want," she suggested, i nodded excitedly because i'm actually making friends
a loud screeching cut us off and we both turned to see the big van skidding right to us. my eyes widen and i had no time to react.. my feet turned into jello and i could see my own miserable life ending by the tick of seconds.
a cold bolder like figure appeared out of nowhere, hiding the deadly van from my view and knocking me back to the side of the truck. Bella was pushed back too.. and my eyes focus to see Edward Cullen literally stopping the van from crushing us with his bear hand.
it was so surreal, how he stopped it like it was made of cardboard, like it weighted nothing!
i can hear people yelling Bella's name and the sound of someone yelling my name but my vision turned into tunnel vision and i slowly slipped into the darkness
