Gregor and the Code of Claw -- A happy ending + A Book Six

Chapter 6

Gregor felt the sorrow flow through him as he told Lizzie what had happened and she also knew that she had probaly forgotten her too, his could this day get worse... Of course a dinner, another way to see Boots,now 14, not know her brother and sister. "This was going to be 'Great'" Gregor thought as he walked with Lizzie to the dining room, where everyone was seated.

"Look who finally arrived." Said Ripred, "Now can we eat?" Vikus nodded and Ripred immediately started eating all the shrimp in cream sauce, Gregor went over and sat at the head of the table next to Luxa, facing his parents at the other end with Boots sitting off to the side.

Gregor opened his mouth but nothing came out when Boots said something unimaginable to Temp who was speaking to her, "Eww, go away you disgusting roach." and started swatting at him, everyone gasped and Temp's antennas dropped so low that they almost touched the ground. How could she say that to Temp, who saved her countless times from certain death.

"Mom," Gregor said gritting his teeth, "Take her away and tell her what she just did." Gregor's mom looked at him and ushered Boots out of the room, you could faintly hear her telling Boots about what Temp had done for her and how she had to go in and say sorry to him.

Boots walked in with a grumpy expression, "Sorry." She said sternly to Temp, it wasn't even genuine.

That event ruined the entire dinner and no one talked the rest of the time, the only noice was of Ripred's smacking.

After, Gregor told Temp about what happened and that she didn't mean it, he nodded and scuddled off.

Luxa told him the second he sat down, "How could Boots do that! Temp saved her life so many times and then, after 12 years, when they finally come back, with Temp so excited to see her again, just disrespect's him like that!" Her voice was near a scream at that point, she noticed and lowered it, thankfully no one heard, "You have to tell her what Temp did for her, you know best of all of us." Gregor nodded and then layed down on the bed and drifted off to sleep.

2 years later (age 26)

The time went slowly over the years as they tried it remind Boots what this place was and what the things down there had done for them, it seemed they were getting closer but she would never fully remember the experience's and sacrifice made for her.

"Gregor, Gregor, get up, there is news!" Said Snap to Gregor waking him up, "What," Gregor said rubbing his eyes.

"The twisters have decided for peace with us." Snap said happily, his charm never left,even after 5 years.

"That is great, when is the ceremony?" Gregor asked, he hoped he wasn't late.

"1 hour, but Vikus wants you there in 20 minutes." Snap responded. "Thanks Snap, I'll see you there." Gregor said and waved him off.

When Gregor arrives, Vikus was waiting at the table and the other table had a small tree so the Twisters could hang. "Gregor, the Twisters and Luxa will be arriving soon, she is escorting them, but they are slightly late,could you and Ares go look ahead?" Asked Vikus.

"Sure, it won't be long." Gregor said and flew off, he had his sword like always.

When Gregor approached where they were, he heard a faint yell, "Ares, did you hear that?"

"Yes, let's investigate, unseath your sword Gregor, there might be danger" Ares responded, Gregor took out his sword and was ready to attack.

When they reached the opening he saw the large gold bat and some Twisters fighting off ants, the faint screams were coming from behind the bat, Luxa. She was on the ground with a gash in her hip, he had to get down there.

Ares swooped down and Gregor jumped off in front of the Twisters, they engnolaged him and continued fighting. Gregor felt the rush and he saw the weak spots on the Cutters, this was the first real battle in a while and he felt different, he felt like he had control but still lost in the sense, like he was a warrior again, The Warrior.

He kept fighting until a tail tapped him on the shoulder, "we got thissssss" hissed a snake, "thanks." Gregor replied as he hacked one more away and ran off to Luxa. She had a small amount of blood coming from her mouth, and the gash was worse close up, it was a chunk ripped out, not just a cut.

"Ares, get down here." Gregor yelled into the air. Ares swooped down and Gregor grabbed Luxa and cradled her in his arms, he got on Ares and told Arora that they will bring her to the hospital and after the battle was done being the Twisters to the Arena. They flew off and Luxa was only half awake, she swayed her head back and forth and Gregor had to ask her questions to keep her awake.

When they got Regalia they flew Luxa straight to the hospital and dropped her off, Gregor kissed her on the forehead and flew off, he flew right to the arena.

"Vikus," Gregor said panting, " the Cutter's attacked Luxa and the Twisters and Luxa got injured and can't attend, also 1 of the Twister representative died defending Luxa."

" That is not good, Gregor, the meeting must go on, we will make the deal and then we will consider war, but we must get the twisters on our side." Vikus said.

Gregor nodded and went to where he was going to sit for the meeting. Not even 5 minutes later the twisters arrived, they were shivering from the cold and Gregor ordered for torches to be placed around them.

"Thank you Twisters for saving the Queen of Regalia, do you still wish for peace?" Gregor asked.

" Yessssss, we would like to make a treaty with the human's." Said the lead Twister, he also had a small crown on his head.

After the treaty, Gregor and the Twister king anouced the treaty to the people. The cheering lasted a while before Gregor dismissed them, he said thank you to the Twister and sent them of back to the jungle on a bat.

Gregor went to the hospital and checked on Luxa, she was awake and had a bandage around her hip and was looking weery. "Luxa,are you feeling well?" Gregor asked and put his hand on her chest.

"I am fine Gregor, did you make the treaty?" Luxa asked back. Gregor told her about all that happened and then left her to rest.

When he stepped out he saw Snap, he looked very worried, "She's fine, but let her rest." Gregor told Snap reasuring him. He walks with him to a balcony and they look out on the bustling city. 1 step closer to peace.

(Sorry for not updating for a week, writers block was really bad, but I already got an ending, but there is still going to be more until then)
