The Sun and the Moon (DreamMare)

Chapter 1

It was a nice day for the Sun and the Moon kids, they were playing around with each other. They were playing tag as the SunLight!Dream goes and tags his older brother the MoonLight!Nightmare, as he runs to his little brother the Sunchild to try to tag him "H-hey Dream get back here! Haha!" The Sunchild was named Dream the prince of Sun and Positivity. The SunLight!Dream kept running away from his brother trying not to get tagged "Haha! Come one Nightmare you can't get me!" The Moonchild was named Nightmare, the prince of the Moon and Negatively. Dream and Nightmare were the perfect brothers ever well that what other people say, they always sit together, hug each other, help others but Dream help the most people, and they sleep together. Some people think their dating because they do everything together but they just tell them that they're just brothers. As years past the SunLight!Dream was getting a lot of attention, he was always with the other people talking to them, not his big brother the MoonLight!Nightmare. The Moonchild was lonely didn't have his brother with him, he only had his books to read. The Moonchild became more distance with everyone and not open with anyone nor his brother, this worried the Sunchild, sometimes the Sunchild ask the Moonchild to play with him or talk with the others but the response he gets is "Not today 'I'm tired' sorry" so the Sun and moonchildren became more distance with each other. Today was their 13th birthday, the Moonchild was born first then the Sunchild. They exchange their gifts with each other as they look happy getting what they like, Dream had got a cape with a sun on it, as for Nightmare he had gotten new books he wanted for a while. They were happy but they stay on different sides of the tree one side of the tree was positive it had golden apples but the other half was negative with black apples. The Sunchild had so many people on his side people being happy but on the other side, the Moonchild had no one. No one wanted to be sad/unhappy this made him lonely and depressed. Months had passed the Sunchild and Moonchild haven't talked in a while. Dream was talking to some people, not by the tree by a bit far, as Nightmare walked over to Dream side of the tree, as he stared up at the golden apples, As he reached up before he started to grab it. It started to turn black once Nightmare grabs the apple it turned all black the tree started to crumble as all the golden apples started to turn black. Nightmare got scared why it was turning black and crumbling, the sky turns red as Dream notice and his eyes widen. The people started to get mad at the Moonchild for what he did taking their happiness away, the Sunchild was trying to calm them down, as he was doing that the Moonchild stared at the apple and taken a bite out of the black apple as he felt his body getting taken over by this thing slowly. As Nightmare was hurting as he looked over to his brother as he sees his brother Dream tearing up on what he did to himself, soon he has been taken over by this slimly black goop, one eye was covering one eye as the other one you could see but his eye color wasn't purple anymore but a cyan color blue. Nightmare smirks as tentacles grew out of his back started to kill people, people were screaming as their loved ones we dead and soon he killed everyone and the Tree of Feelings. As Dream took out the last golden apple he was about to eat it until one of Nightmare tentacle grab the Sunchild around the neck as the Moonchild growls at him "Give me the apple!" The Sunchild shakes his head 'No' a lot "N-No!" Dream managed to bite the golden apple as he and his brother faced off. As the Sunchild summon a staff the had two stars one at the top and bottom of the staff. The Sunchild and Moonchild fought for a bit until Nightmare couldn't take the positive feelings from Dream and teleported away as the Sunchild saw his only brother teleported away he fell to his knees and started to cry for his brother asking why this had to be. He never wanted this for his brother Nightmare he blamed himself for what happened to Nightmare
