Thirteen words

Y/n woke up in Ransoms arms she tried to get out but he just held tighter every time she moved. She just gave up and laid there till he woke up. But soon fell back asleep feeling warm and safe. Y/n was confused what this warm feeling was when she thought about ransom. She would stop herself knowing what exactly what it was. She couldn't make the same mistake twice. She woke up once more her face was on his chest she looked up to see a slightly awake Ransom. " see you're awake and fine" he smiled. She moved off of him making the smile go away.
"Yeah I guess I'm sorry for bothering you I'm not usually like this". Y/n said getting up and off the bed leaving his room and locking herself in her own room. Ransom got up to talk but she was already dressed and ready to leave.
" oh... umm... no invite?" Ransom questioned her.
" no not today I have some family stuff I need to take care of" y/n quickly said. Ransom just stood there wondering why y/n was acting like this. Was it something he said? it really bothered him. Y/n was trying to get some distance from him,she didn't want to lead him on. As she drove off she began remembering

-flash back-
"EVERYONE DOWN NOW" a man yelled he had a mask on. more people rushed into her family's home.
Y/n looked over and pulled her gun out and started shooting at the other people coming in. She hid but quickly was found by the man with the mask on. He stopped and looked at her. He slowly removed the mask. "Nick?" Y/n said with a tear streaming down her eye. It was her boyfriend the one she trusted and told everything. Anger fill her but she kept it in slowly approaching him. she held his face in her hand " you're one of them? How could you!? I TRUSTED YOU!" She began crying. She shot the gun out of his hand and quickly grabbed it. He was on the ground " I'm sorry but all you were was a mission to me". As y/n pointed the gun at him
"But... I loved you...".
" I never did... I'm sorry" after she shot him in the head and ran out the door unable to comprehend what had just happened. Already realizing that both her parents were dead she ran almost being hit by a truck outside.
-end of flashback-

Y/n had tears streaming down her eyes unable to see the road she pulled over and cried for hours. She couldn't trust anyone who wasn't directed family.
Ransom began to worry y/n would usually be back around 10am and it was almost 5pm. Right when he was going to leave the house y/n pulled up and walked in. Ransom noticed her red eyes and nose he knew she was crying but for what reason. Y/n walked straight to her room and didn't come out for the rest of the night. Ransom decided to make a call to her cousin. "Hello" Victoria said picking up the phone. " hey Victoria it's Ransom umm I don't know what's wrong with y/n but she's acting very weird,she was gone for the whole day and then just got back now and umm... well... she looked like she was crying".
"What the hell did you do Ransom!" Victoria said yelling.
"I didn't do anything I'm just worried something bad happened, is there anyway you can come over and talk to her... please?" Ransom begged.
"Fine it might be a few hours but if I find out it had something to do with you I'll kill you myself" Victoria hung the phone up.
It was 9pm Victoria walked in the house startling Ransom who was in kitchen reading a book. Victoria walked upstairs and knocked "y/n it's me" and then walked in. Ransom just looked up at her when she's walked in hoping to see y/n but saw nothing.
Ransom didn't know what this feeling was towards y/n was, but I was a nice warm feeling in him that he liked and it happened every time he saw y/n. He couldn't explain it but he didn't mind it. A few hours passed and no one came out of the room Ransom assumed that Victoria was probably going to stay the night so he headed to bed.

In y/n's room Victoria and y/n talked about the whole situation. " y/n I know you're scared and don't wanna make the same mistake but if you look at it Ransom has all the money he wanted back,he could have left but he hasn't,he's stuck with you more that nick." Victoria trying to explain everything.
"You don't understand!" y/n said crying.
"Then make me understand" Victoria said back
"Nick was the reason why my parents are dead! He just used me to have them killed!" Y/n said walking back and forth in her room crying. Victoria just stood there in shock,she didn't know how her aunt and uncle died.
" I killed nick ,we didn't break up because it "didn't work out" I was mad so I had to do it" y/n said collapsing on the floor.
Victoria rushes to her and picked her up. "Okay okay I understand now, you just need time to think. Now let's clean you up and go to bed". Y/n was torn to piece she hated the fact that Ransom made her this weak. She knew that the only thing to keep her mind off of him was to do the only thing she's know her whole life. To kill someone.
